A/N: Jungkook's solo stage performance of 'Save Me' destroys my life.
*The next day*
*September 11th*
*9 p.m.*
Y/N's POV:
"There. Now she'll protect you, but she'll only actually be able to talk to you if I'm not alive," Junkook said, putting the watch back on my wrist after editing it. We were sitting on the couch on the patio, and he decided to limit my freedom with his creation.
"You're seriously going to restrict my freedom with the item you're forcing me to wear?" I asked.
"A.R.M.Y. is a good creation, but she has some bad qualities. Sometimes she's there for you, and sometimes she's not. It depends."
"She's a computer. How can she decide that?"
"I don't know. She just can."
"Okay... Now that I let you control me, can I please teach you?" I asked.
"Why do I have to learn about it?"
"It's the biggest terrorist attack in American history, and we're in America. It only seems respectful."
He groaned and stood up. "Fine."
*Midnight*
I saw Jungkook standing in deep water, and I untied my towel, letting it drop onto the sand. I got in the water and made my way over to him. "What are you up to?" He asked, turning to face me.
The water was up to my chin and I giggled while watching his confused expression at my unexpected visit. "I'm just enjoying the water with you." He bent his knees a little bit so the water was up to his chin and I giggled again. "You're adorable Jungkook."
"Says the adorable one." He grabbed my legs and wrapped them around him, and I realized he was wearing a swimsuit. "You're naked?" He asked with a smirk.
"Oh. I forgot you weren't able to see my chest. Yeah, but I thought you were too. I saw you come out here with nothing on and-"
He interrupted me by placing his lips on top of mine. "I wasn't complaining babygirl."
"We should get to sleep Kookie. It's really late," I said, pecking his lips again.
"Okay."
We got out of the water and I put my towel back on. "I'll go get dressed." I walked upstairs to the room we slept in last night and put on Jungkook's basketball shorts and his baggy white T-shirt, along with my undergarments of course. I sat on the bed and went on my phone for a little bit until a loud bang came from downstairs. I immediately got up and ran downstairs, looking around for where the noise came from. "Kookie?" I asked.
I was about to turn the corner to the living room when someone came up from behind me and wrapped their arm around my body, while their other hand covered my mouth. "Shut up," the horrible voice said, pushing me into the living room.
I gasped when I saw Daehyun holding a gun against Jungkook's head, who was on his knees, looking at the ground. "So... This is where you've been hiding this entire time," Daehyun said to me.
"Let him go," I said.
"Why? So he can continue torturing you while you're with him? The only person you ever talk to is him. Do you know how sick that is?"
"Please," I whimpered. "Just take me and let him go. He doesn't deserve this."
"No. He doesn't deserve you." The guy behind me pushed me onto my knees and I finally made eye contact with Jungkook.
"It'll be okay," he mouthed to me.
"Any last words?" Daehyun asked. The guy behind me had a gun pressed against my head and I quivered at the feeling that this was it. Then, I noticed something while looking at Jungkook... The watch on his wrist.
"Your voice is programmed to my watch too. As long as you're near me, say his name, and he'll help you in any situation," Jungkook told me while reprogramming my watch earlier today.
"Well?" Daehyun asked. I looked at him and with the most intimidating voice and face I could make, I gave him his answer.
"Dionysus."
"What?"
I looked back at Jungkook who gave me a small smile before he turned around and tackled Daehyun to the ground. I saw my own watch flash, and I was pulled forward just as the guy who was holding me shot his gun. "Thank you A.R.M.Y," I whispered.
I saw Jungkook wrestling Daehyun for the gun, and I couldn't move. Another shot was fired at me, but it ricocheted and shot it's owner instead.
"Y/N, run!" Jungkook yelled.
I felt myself being pulled outside, but not by A.R.M.Y. It was myself, out of pure fear. Multiple people ran after me as I ran into woods near the house. The horrible sound of a gunshot coming from inside the house ripped through my ears, and I felt myself tearing up by the thought that Jungkook may have just gotten shot.
When I couldn't see the people who ran after me anymore, I climbed a tree, getting as far up from the ground as possible.
I couldn't help but just pull my legs up to my chest and cry. I cried for a few minutes straight, not being able to calm myself down.
"She went this way!" Someone yelled from below me.
I gasped and covered my mouth. They did follow me. The sound of twigs snapping below me had me scared for my life, and it took everything in my power not to scream.
Another gunshot came from the house just as the people walked away. I sighed and leaned my head against the tree trunk.
"They're gone now," a familiar voice said.
"A.R.M.Y.?" I asked smiling.
"I contacted Sehun and the others. They should be on their way now."
"You wouldn't believe how good it is to heat your voice. I-"
Then, the hurricane hit when I remembered what Jungkook told me earlier.
"Now she'll protect you, but she'll only be able to actually talk to you if I'm not alive."
