We walked in and it was a cute little cafe that was near by the company. We sat down and looked at the menu.
"Do you know what you want?" Mingi asked looking up from his menu.
"Umm maybe the merry mango, and you?" I asked.
"I'm thinking possibly a strawberry yogurt smoothie" He smiled.
Once we ordered, we started talking. At first it was just random things we were talking about.
"The reason I wanted to see you was because I want to talk about us" Mingi said.
"Mingi... there's... there's no us anymore" I replied looking down fidgeting with my rings.
Before he could respond, they brought our order to our table. We thanked them before they went back to work.
"That's the thing" Mingi said.
"I want there to be an us again" He added.
"These past months that we barley talk, hardly ever saw each other and when we broke up" Mingi continued.
"It was hard for me. I felt like my heart broke into millions of pieces. I was lost without you" He said.
"You don't think this was hard on me? I tried so hard to forget about everything that happened between us that night we ended things Mingi" I replied.
"I cried for days, I couldn't stay here anymore at least not at the time. That's why we left Korea and went to visit my sister, she was worried about me and wanted us to go over" I added.
"I was heartbroken, it hurt that you didn't believe me when I told you everything. I would never lie to you nor would I ever cheat on you" I said eyes getting watery.
"I know and I'm sorry. I just couldn't think straight, everything was coming at me too fast with our packed schedules, our practices, and then finding out these news that my girlfriend apparently was cheating on me with someone else" He chocked on his words.
"I couldn't think straight. I knew you didn't cheat on me and I don't know why I accused you of doing so. I know being stressed isn't the right excuse or even an excuse but it was hard for me too" I saw his eyes getting watery.
I've never seen him like this, it hurts to see him the way he is.
"I want you back, I need to have you back in my life" Mingi pleaded.
"I want you back too Mingi" I said. He smiled at my response.
"But-" I added.
"But what?" Mingi asked.
"We need to take things slow again" I replied.
"If that's what you want that's fine by me. I just want you back in my life" He smiles reaching out to hold my hand.
We both smiled holding each other's hand, we continued to talk and caught up with things.
"We should get going. It's late and I don't want you walking home alone this late" Mingi said. I nodded and followed him out the cafe.
"You should get going. I'm sure the members are wondering where you're at" I said stopping in my tracks looking at Mingi.
"They know I'm with you and won't let me go back until I make things right between us" Mingi chuckled.
"Did I make things right between us?" He asked.
"I don't know" I said in a serious tone.
"I- I thought I did" Mingi said worried.
