Chapter 4 - First Mission B&Q

~Bella's POV

"So are we supposed to just kill the guy and walk away or is there some type of way that he just knows?" I ask Qway as it seems we've reached our destination.

From what I see, we're standing outside of this huge castle like structure... a bit too gothic for my taste but with a little bit of black nail polish and boy band posters, I could make it work.

Qway responds... literally in a whisper " Bella, he told us that we have to assassinate this guy because he has something precious to Lord Death, once we take him out, we contact him immediately... do you remember the number?"

After thinking deeply for about 5 seconds, I accept defeat when I answer "no, not really" of course I scratch the back of my head... bad habit.

Qway yawns and shakes his head, but shortly after he laughs lightly. Thank god, for a second I thought he was actually upset, this kid is NOT an open book.

"Ok so first we walk up to a mirror and we'll write '42-42-564' which is his direct number and he'll appear, similar to a phone call" Qway states as he begins to walk up the stairs.

I follow right next to him since he was paying attention more than I was when Lord Death was instructing us.

~10 minutes later... literally

After walking up all these damn stairs, we finally come face to face with this huge door. Now my first thought is to kick this damn door down and I was literally about to but Qway INSISTED... more like dragged me away from the door to the side of the castle.

"Ok, I know you have a knack for doing things... your way, but I personally think it would be best if we avoid all the extra work and just do what we need to do" Qway insisted.

"Qway, we don't even know what the guy looks-

He takes out a printed piece of paper and holds it out in front of me. I observe it and I read "Batta" at the top... this chick is hot!

He states "yea, Lord Death gave me this after you ran out of the room when he told us the location"

Ok I'll admit, he's making me feel stupid and not only that, I feel stupid.

"Alright I'm sorry, I know I can be hasty at times" is all I can say really. "So what's your plan" I ask.

"We figure out an alternative way in and attack Batta directly, or we can do things your way and end up fighting dozens of guards... your pick, you're the meister" Qway informs.

"Hey! Just because I'm the meister does not mean I make all the decisions... you matter too! But your plan is more logical, let's do it" I say trying to let him know that he matter just as much as me if not more, we're a team until one of us dies... that was dark Bella, even for you.

He looks at me and then nods his in agreement. He transforms into a spear and I take hold as I leap right over the gate instead of kicking it... which would've been cooler, and I sit right on top of the gate as I take in my surroundings.

I see guards heavily placed in almost every area, one area is only being guarded by two guards and I spot an open window on the second story of the castle... I can definitely make that jump after getting past them two. I try to look for another opening but I can't really see much, curse these beautiful bangs I have.
