Chanpter 2

Tohru Honda's POV
     I open my eyes slowly. The sun was starting to come up. I woke up early so I decided to go to a zodiac place. Ever since I was little I love the Japanese zodiac story. My favorite zodiac was always the cat. The story made me cry that the rat tricked the cat to not go to the zodiac party to become part of the zodiac. After that I've always liked cats
I got dressed and left. My plan was to only be there for 15 minutes. When I was at my destination, I was surprised, it was so beautiful. It was just like a modern house so nice and comfy looking. I walked up the little stair and saw a glass case inside were zodiac tokens. Every zodiac token was on their except the cat ( maybe because the cat wasn't a part of the zodiac in the first place).
" oh hello I wasn't expecting guests." I heard a mans voice say close by. "Oh I'm so sorry, I guess my Curiosity got the best of me, not like that's an excuse I'm so sorry please forgive me." My voice was trembling. I always get nervous and I feel bad for the little things. " oh don't be sorry it's ok, it's just we don't get much visitors out in the woods." He seemed nice. He was around his 40's I think. I kept quite thinking this is so disrespectful just getting on someone's property. " it's really ok, I'm Shigure Sohma, what's your name." He said kinda awkwardly
"Oh uh I'm Tohru Honda nice to meet you," I said smiling.
Something in the back slammed like a door shutting. I looked towards the noise there was a boy around my age. He had grey hair but a young face. I don't know if that was his real hair color or not.
"Good morning Yuki meet Tohru. I met her this morning. She is really interested in zodiac."  Shigure said
I smiled at him. He came towards us and asked
"Oh cool," his voice was so quiet he sounded like one of those people who are shy
"I see your going to the same school as him, why don't you two walk together."  He sounded so happy.
I didn't know what to say. I didn't want to say yes or I'll sound creepy but if I said no I'll sound rude.
" it's ok, I don't want to be trouble I might bore you to death." I started laughing a bit nervously
"We can walk together." Yuki said kinda ignoring what I said.
Half way there it was very awkward. I felt myself sweating and every once in a while I'll turn to him just to see if he'll say anything. After 10 minutes we started talking.
"So you like the zodiac?" He said quietly
"Of course I do they are all so amazing." I said my mom would always say I was friendly, I was never really shy so when I talked to him I talked nice and proud like we were always friends.
"Except that little stupid cat," I heard him whisper.
I acted as if I didn't hear but I couldn't stand not to ask why
"You don't like the cat?" I said not too interested for him to think that I like the cat but just enough to make him answer and not ignore me
"That cat cant do anything right." He sounded angry as if he actually were enemies with the cat in the story.
" oh uh why?........ not that you have to answer sometimes I wanna keep quiet too I'm so sorry I didn't mean to get personal," I started to get nervous again.
" oh no it's ok you can ask," he paused for a bit, "it's just I don't think the cat should be a part of the zodiac, he can't accept himself that's what makes you a zodiac you have to accept yourself." He was looking at the ground he was saying something because his mouth was moving.
The rest of the way we talked about other things. To be honest it was kinda fun. Then we got to school. He dropped me off in the front while he had to go somewhere else.
