Nishikata: War for the Universe

Prologue:

"Sir! Sir! We can't hold them off much longer!"
"We have to! It's the only way for them to get The Overseer out of here!"
"But sir! If we stay any longer...we all die!"
"Then it shall be a noble sacrifice for the greater good!"
"But sir..."
"We shall do what we must. Now keep fighting and remember what this journey has been about. We said we would sacrifice ourselves for this purpose! So do what you were born to do!"
"Your right! Yes sir!"

Thousands of creatures swarmed the battle ground, killing everything who tried to get through. Everyone who was still alive knew the end was near for them. But they did not feel fear anymore. This is what they had trained for there whole lives!

"I am proud to call you my son!"
"And I am proud to call you my father!"
"Your mother will be proud when she sees the man you have become!"
"Thank you father!"
"Now let's go kill these bastards!"
"Yes!"

Everyone still left screamed there final words. But they were not sad words, they were victorious and said everything about how happy they were to be there fighting for what was right.
It was time!

And with in almost a second, the battlefield erupted with flames of red. Killing everything in sight!

As the flames grew closer to him and his son, they embraced in a hug.

"I can't wait to see mum!" The boy had spoken his last words to his father. And then. They were gone!

However there sacrifice was not in vane, for the one force capable of stopping all this had escaped. The being they called The Overseer was alive, and had escaped just don't in time!

"I feel I have failed them!" The being said to himself. "No! This is what I predicted! I must get the others! Before it is to late!"
