Nishikata: War for the Universe

Act One: Part One: Calling!

It was particularly normal day for Nishikata. Go to school, get teased by Takagi, all was well and good. Well at least for him. Others may have thought differently.

As Nishikata packed up the last of his belongings from his last class, he remembered Takagi asking him that afternoon: "Wanna walk home together?"
He didn't feel like getting teased that afternoon. "Sorry Takagi I'm tired, you know as it's Friday, can you give me today off?" She grinned at him. "Nah." Nishikata sighed. "Oh well, at least I tried."

The work home was pretty normal. Takagi teased him nearly three times to his dismay. But nevertheless he was still happy, although he would never admit that to her.
When the two made it to the round about, they said there goodbyes and finally both went home.

As usual, Nishikata was on his phone. With it being a Friday night and all, he felt like staying up and scrolling through stuff on his phone. Finally he turned the phone off and shut his eyes.

What woke his wasn't the sound, but the flash in his room. He snapped awake, although he admittedly wasn't really asleep. The room was filled with a bright light, one he had never seen before. He tried to find the cause of this light, before spotting a giant shadow, no, rather an illusion he thought at first, in the shape of a man.
When the light faded the man he thought he had seen was definitely not an illusion, and was definitely there with him in the room. It was giant, many many foot tall, much taller than he ever was. Hell, much taller than any one person should ever be. He looked as if he was the size of at least three people on top of each other.
He wanted to scream, but his fear didn't allow it. He just stood and watched. He thought he was going to die. With the man, no thing looming over him. It felt inevitable. Finally the thing spoken: "Nishikata!" The voice booming through the room. Nishikata wondered why no one else was coming upstairs to view the commotion. He finally spoke, although little words came out. "W-w-who are...yo...you?" The tall being walked closer revealing its details. It wore strange clothing, like that you would see in a superhero tv show or in a fantasy world. It had no hair and wore a blank face with hardly any features. He expected an explanation. M-maybe this was just a prank he thought. Although it must have been a very good one.
The thing once again spoke: "Do not fear me Nishikata. I... Am the Overseer!" He felt even more confused. "The...Overseer. W-what does that mean. H...how did you get in here?" The being did not change its expression the slightest. It had a very stone face, that showed little of what it was thinking. Nishikata was in a trance. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. "All your questions shall be answered in due time Nishikata. But for now, I come to you with terrible news. News you must take in with all thought!" Nishikata thought to himself. None of this was surely real. He must have been dreaming. "W...well what is it then?" The being moved slightly closer which made Nishikata jump a little. "Nishikata! The Universe you find yourself in is in much danger. You must come with me and join with the League of Heroes to stop this evil!" Nothing the character just said made any sense. He was confused as hell. "W...W...what are you talking...about?" He gulped. "Nishikata. Your purpose is above all those fighting out there. You are more important than you realize." With so many questions in his mind, all he wanted to know was more. He wanted to ask questions so bad. Like how the person got there and what he was saying. "W...well how am I important. And forgive me for asking...But how did you get in here!" He again didn't change his tone. Keeping the same stone face as usual. "As I said before Nishikata, you will learn soon. But you must know Nishikata..." He gulped again. "W...what is it?" He walked a little closer, looming over the boy. "In order for this...war to conclude, and the Universe to be saved, Nishikata...you must die!
He gulped harder. How could this be. What was going on. Why was he just learning about this now. "N...no your lying. This is a prank right." "I'm afraid not Nishikata!" "B...But why?" He got so close to Nishikata that Nishikata begun sweating. "All the knowledge you will require shall now be revealed. Sleep well tonight, as this will be you final night here!" What! What was he saying? The thing then raised his hand and placed it on Nishikata's skull. "What are you..." Nishikata blacked out. But all the things he needed to know were revealed that night. And that's when he realized, what his true purpose now was...
