.second letter
Taylor,
I hope you know that you weren’t just pretty to me. You were more than that and I know that I’ve told you that when we were on the edge of breaking up. It was raining, right? When we were talking? How dramatic. I am not bitter. It was just too dramatic. And the scenery was too much for me.
I don’t even know why I’m doing this. Writing a letter to you and not sending it.
I guess things are just better left unsent than letting someone know that you’re still trying to reach for someone who wouldn’t even care if you shed a tear.
I’m still reaching out, Taylor.
And I want to stop.
But I can’t.
-Matt
