.fourth letter
Taylor,
Remember when I gave you a teddy bear and a box of chocolates? Yeah, you threw the bear at me and took the chocolates with you and then afterwards, you went to your next class. You didn’t ask me to walk you. But after your last class, you waited for me and asked me about the bear.
You told me you wanted it back.
I asked you why, but you said it was just cute, the teddy bear (“Not because you gave it, duh”). But when I gave you the bear once again and you started walking away, I saw you smile with your wisdom tooth showing.
You’ve never smiled like that.
Because you told me you’ve always hated that wisdom tooth. But I told you that you won’t need braces anymore because that wisdom tooth never bothered people.
By the end of the year, you got braces.
I hated it at first, but I can’t argue with your decision.
