BEFORE YOU READ:
This is years after the events of Stars [Book Three to the Silhouette Series] I really just wanted to write a marriage chapter so sue me.
I'm going to try to spoil as little as possible since Stars isn't done yet, and this will probably be split into parts.
I'm going to do the same for Silhouette, but in an AU where the reader isn't dead and everything is fine and dandy.
Alright, onto the chapter!
Denki pulled out the black velvet box from his pocket. "I hope they say yes." The electric blonde male said under his breath, shaking slightly.
"They'll say yes, calm down." Denki heard a voice from behind him. He turned around to see his
best friend, Hitoshi, smiling at him. He was in a navy blue button up shirt and black dress pants. "You look nice." Denki said. "I'm just so scared, y'know? I love [Y/N] so, so much, but what if they don't feel the same way?" Denki said, voice shaking as he turned around to adjust his formal vest.
"2 things." Hitoshi said as he walked over and patted Denki on the back. "You look great too, and they love you, they'll say yes." The lavender haired young man reassured his best friend.
They were dressed all fancy because Denki planned a double date with his girl/boyfriend [Y/N], and his two best friends [S/N] and Hitoshi.
But it was more then just a double date, little did you know.
"Hey, Hitoshi? I need to ask you something." Denki asked, hoping for a yes the same way he hoped ro hear it from [Y/N].
"Anything." Hitoshi responded while adjusting his shirt.
"If [Y/N] says yes-" Denki said. "WHEN [Y/N] says yes!" Hitoshi cut him off.
"Ok, [Y/N] says yes and we get married..." Denki said, trailing off before finishing.
"When you two get married?" Hitoshi asked.
"Will you be my best man?" Denki asked, finally looking his best friend in the eye.
"Really?" Hitoshi asked, shocked, looking straight as his best friends sunflower orbs. "Hell yea, I mean that. Will you?" Denki asked one last time.
"I'd love too." Hitoshi responded with a smile.
Time skip, an hour later
[Y/N], Denki, Hitoshi and [S/N] all had a double date together. They ate at a a fancy restaurant and had a lovely time.
After the Dinner, The 2 couples went they're separate ways. But without the others seeing, Denki and Hitoshi shot a thumbs up to each other.
[Y/N] and Denki trailed off to a nearby park as they talked about nothing. [Y/N] always believed that you found your soulmate if you could take to someone about nothing for hours.
Eventually, Denki led his partner to a beautiful scene; roses, candles, and a tall, beautiful oak tree in the middle.
"This is so beautiful." [Y/N] thought out loud. "Like you." Denki responded, smirking slightly.
"Sweet, but also Cliché." [Y/N] said as they laughed to themselves.
"Ok, [Y/N], I've been thinking about this a lot. I want you to know you are my whole world, You're beautiful, you're smart, you're caring, you're strong, but, the number reason I love you is because you're my best friend. You make me laugh, even through tears, you make me smile, you make me want to look stupid, you make me happy, but most of all, you make me a better person. And I promise with all my heart I will do the same for you."
Denki got down on his knees and pulled out the velvet box. He opened it to reveal a gorgeous diamond ring.
[Y/N] began to tear up as they covered they're mouth.
Denki finally asked:
"Will you marry me?"
