I'm a bit obssesed with the vampire diaries and the originals and in those tv series; the other side was a fictional kind of after life for all supernaturals that died in the series at least it was before it was destroyed. So this book is kind of a spin off from it and it is completely original and has no connection to the author of the vampire diaries and all the people involved in the production of the two tv shows.
