It was that specific day of the year that had giyuu more sadder and ignoring everyone else more then usual.

Yes it is sabito's death anniversary.

"Tomioka-kun are you okay?" A very worried (Y/N) Asked his fellow pillar "l-leave me alone (Y/N)" giyuu said almost shedding a tear. "Well if you need me please tell me" (Y/N) said softly while walking away.

'Maybe I should take a quick walk around the headquarters and get my mind off Tomioka-kun' (Y/N) thought 'yeah sounds like a plan' he decided in his head. The whole place seemed so nice when it was quiet and peaceful "(Y/N)-kun" a very familiar female voice said "yes Kocho-san?" The male said a bit spooked from her sudden appearance "do you know where giyuu-kun is?" The purple tipped female spoke "Ah-no i was just taking a walk around headquarters. Do you know why tomioka-kun is ignoring us?" (Y/N) asked kinda worried for the mismatched haori male."He was ignoring my teasing so i came to ask if you knew why" shinobu said. "I'll go and look for him okay kocho-san" he said while smiling

"Tomioka-kun" yelled (Y/N) through the halls of headquarters "Tomioka are you here?" No one responded 'maybe he's outside'

While walking outside (Y/N) heard faint sobbing he rushed to the voice and he found giyuu behind a tree.

"Tomioka-kun whats wrong"

"i-its s-sabito's death anniversary" giyuu said with voice cracks. You where very aware who sabito was cause giyuu talked about him sometimes "h-huh you never told me he... you know, went to somewhere beautiful " this was no time to be angry but you where you thought you could meet sabito but he's already gone "i-im sorry its just I c-can't come to telling anyb-body about his death because i'd cry or ignore everyone until I feel better" He said a little quiet, but (Y/n) managed to hear him "h-hey its okay, I know how it feels to lose someone special" (Y/N) said as he tried to comfort his friend

"b-but im scared what if I lose someone else special to me?"

"who is this other person who is special to you?" You asked trying not to sound suspicious

"this one (h/c) headed demon slayer I love but i dont think they'll accept me" as he said those words (Y/n) was getring a little jealous, but its not a time to be jealous "im sure they will as long as you try asking them" (Y/n) said with a smile at the end of his words "t-then do you lik- Love me back?" He said trying not to start crying meanwhile your face started going redder then a tomato "w-w-ell its your friends passing a-a-anniversary" you said while being a blushing mess "well your blushing so im gonna take that as a yes" he said leaning in for a kiss. It was quick but filled with love and passion.
