I turned off his light and cuddled up to him. "I can't sleep by myself..." I whispered; he chuckled softly as he moved the blanket and sheet before he moved over. I crawled into bed. "Why is life so messy? Like all the time Ryan?" He turned his head so he could look at me. "Just so we can have more days with our children." he was going to say something else before I said, "Or nights were we can just do this?" I laid my head on his arm, he brought me in to kiss my head. "That too. Our life was fun but I couldn't pick between you and Bri I just. I made a choice that I thought was right." I smiled at him. "honestly at the time I felt like we were already drowning between me wanting to go home all the time and our marriage failing it just felt like it was time.
