All eyes fell on them, just like the movie that was a phenomenon around a decade and the small pair only chuckled and pitying themselves. Wondering if they could find one easily like that and Wooseok never got bound to a curse, well; it could be alright. He pouted and checked on Wooseok's endeavours to look fine with the gazes. Yeah, that vampire was as powerful as usual and charming as like he should do. Sejin followed after and a second later, exhaustion came to him and hunger was kicking in just because two little brothers grumbled behind him.
"Wooseok," he called.
He was still unbugged.
"Kim Wooseok," within a flash of a second, the man turned to look at him and glared.
"What is it?"
His eyes flashed a glint of hunger, turned into bright red and Wooseok slipped a small gift under his pocket. "Thank you," he whispered.
It would be a long day after 3 years never been in the college, then they were here enrolling just like all the first-timer at the master class. They were on break and silently the pair frequently sneaked out of the cafeteria just for drinking two packs of blood that Wooseok got from nowhere.
Yohan and Byungchan were hungry, taking some glances towards the elders as if they were asking for another pack for their hungry stomach. But Wooseok did not get the clue since he let his mind roaming somewhere. No one knew where his mind went, but one thing they knew, the letter from the clan kept him occupied and falling deeper into some thoughts. Sejin noticed it, however, he could not help it. Binary was one of his weaknesses.
"Still not willing to tell me?"
Wooseok blinked his eyes once, looking unbothered and smiling. "It's hard--but how if your cousin is in this town?"
Sejin propped his chin by his hand, humming and shrugging his shoulder. "I don't know. It's been a long time after running away from the clan. Well--perhaps greet him is more than enough. He is a royal, after all."
He tilted his head to one side. "Really?"
Sejin only hummed.
"I don't know. You know--I know I'm the normal one, still senior royals and not affected by the curse, I'm not drinking the same packs like you. I'm also breakable, if he wants me to vanish, by one finger flick, I would die; either by the dad's hand or him. I'm not strong like you."
The youngest listened in silence, not stealing a glance of the elders but they knew where it led to.
"You still have a grudge at him?"
Sejin nodded. "Always--even without him knowing it all, I'm relieved to live with you," he sincerely said, looking back and fro at Wooseok and the little brothers, "my brethren, it's safe here, with you all."
"You mean that you feel safe when I'm safe?"
"Exactly," he quickly answered. Wooseok giggled, hugging the latter into his embrace. "I'm sorry, I guess my existence worsen your relationship with your clan."
Sejin cupped his cheeks, "no, don't say it--you are more precious than anything. Right, Yohan?"
The youngest bobbed his head quickly, agreeing for what the older one said to him--because he could not disagree. It was indeed true.
"Please--it's been our 5th century, aren't you tired of pitying yourself? Jinhyuk did not deserve you after all...." he paused, "we'll heal you, no one will turn you into a monster like the elders always told you. Just because the late Duke of Yoon and the late Duke of Hong saved you--it doesn't mean you'll turn like them."
