Chapter 23

ELSA'S POV

We took the subway back to the restaurant.

Now that it was darker all the lights were starting to light up in time square. It was like a dream come true!

Finally we arrived at the restaurant, still as beautiful and fancy as before.

We sat for a few minutes till a beautiful brunette took us to our table.

"Salut! Common ça va? Je suis Belle." (A/N ENGLISH TRANSLATION: Hello! How are you? I am Belle.)

Jack gave me a 'dafuq' look. I just laughed and replied " Ça va bien, merci!" (A/N ENGLISH TRANSLATION: I'm good, thank you!)

"Woah Elsa! I didn't know you spoke French!" Jack said, his mouth hanging wide open. " When I booked this I thought it had a French name because it was fancy but I guess not!"

I laughed at him as we took our seats at this giant circular booth.

Throughout the night we talked and laughed but it kinda sucked because I had to order for everyone... but overall it was amazing!

Then as we were all eating dessert, Belle brought me another cake.

" Um Non merci!" (A/N um no thanks)

Then in her French accent, she spoke terrible English.

She unrolled a tiny piece of paper.

"From Jack to Elsa. When I first saw you I knew..." Oh God! was he proposing?

"Your beautiful and amazing in every way. I love you."

Aww how cute- LOVE YOU?!

I sat there,mouth open staring at Jack. I had no idea what to do.

"Um wow! I-uh- thanks." He looked really disappointed but I just didn't know for sure. It feels like something is holding me back but I don't know what.

We went back to the hotel ( from the subway) and we were so tired out we fell asleep. Well everyone but me. Jack and I had fallen asleep earlier and for some reason I wasn't tired but he was.

I decided to take a walk in Central Park. It was right across the street anyway!

"Elsa"

I turned around to air. No one there.
'It's your head. your probably just feeling guilty.'

"REMEMBER"

Still no one.

" I'm here! please I miss you!"

" What the hell! " I yelled and everyone around me stared.

Finally I found a nice spot on a bench in front of a statue.

"ELSAAAAAA!" She yelled!

I laughed so hard! " ARIELLLLLL!" I yelled playing some sort of game.

"C'mon lets go!" I said. "I'm tired!"

"Elsa I don't think it's safe. You know with that guy still out there! I think we should stay here a little while longer.

"Well I'm going! You can stay!"

"Fine I'm coming!" she said.

We were laughing about something when a van pulled up.

I knew what was happening and started to run.

"ARIEL RUN!" I shouted.

2 men started to get out of the vehicle.

Ariel stood there with fear in her eyes!

I ran back, but it was to late! They were kicking her into their van.

"STOP!" I yelled starting to cry.

"SHUT UP!" One of the men said quickly slicing my side with a knife! They threw some sort of dust on Ariel. " Elsa! Plea-" Then she and the guys vanished.
