Harry
The boy who lived. I'd never hear the end of that. Ever since I killed the evil, most dangerous man ever, Tom Riddle(aka Voldemort). I was happy I guess.... I mean I had friends, and fame.... But I didn't care about that... The fame, I mean. Hell, I don't know where I'd be without my best friends, Ron and Hermione. We all live in the Kingdom of Griffindor, and we're happy. Although it's not the same after the assassination of our former King, Albus Dumbledore. But Queen Minerva McGonagall had raised Griffindor back up again and it still felt like home.

I was living with Ron and his family, as Voldemort had murdered mine when I was 1. We were all sat around the kitchen table - Ron was obviously eating, and Hermione was reading the Profit.

"Have you seen this, Harry?" Hermione said, without even glancing up.

"What?" I asked drearily, thinking it was probably just another article praising me. I was sick of this fame, and would give anything to just leave it behind.

"King Lucius of Slytherin is holding a ball for Prince Draco's 16th birthday."

I can't help but blush at the mention of Prince Draco. Hermione sees this and smiles, knowing full well of my major crush on the Slytherin Prince.

"Oh... Er.... That's cool."

"Oh, for God's sake, Harry! It's obvious you adore him!"

I sigh, and bury my head in my hands. "Well it's not like I have a chance. He has to be with a Slytherin noble girl. I'm not a Slytherin, I'm not a noble, and I'm definitely not a girl."

"Well, you might have a shot if you both love each other!"

Ron suddenly choked on his breakfast and spluttered, "Bloody Hell, Mione! They haven't even met!"

Suddenly a thoughtful look appeared onto Hermione's face.
"Well, maybe we'll have to change that...."

"What do you mean?" I asked. I really hoped that she wouldn't suggest using his fame to get close to him. 1)Lucius would never allow it, and 2) I didn't want anything to do with my fame.

"We get you into the party and and you'll have the chance to talk to him."

"Mione, the paper says that only Slytherin nobility are invited. Harry isn't either." Ron said, while reading the article.

"Well we sneak him in."

"Hermione, I'm famous!" I spat, "I'd never get in!"

"We'll disguise you! Really, it would be simple. You'd go in with your invisibility cloak and then you'll be disguised in the actual party!"

Ron and I sat in stunned silence. Thinking about it, it actually seemed like it would work.... Who'd notice one boy in a room filled with dozens?!

A smile formed on my lips. It seemed like I might just get to meet my long-time crush.
