It was a Saturday afternoon and maki was currently staring at a group of girls. they're so pretty then a certain girl caught her eye. She had long blonde hair with eyes so pink that they reminded maki of cherry blossoms, her outfit was a sweater with a pink tennis skirt. Maki blushed oh my God, she's so cute. Shit I think I just caught feelings. the brunette immediately grabbed her phone and dialed a number. Someone picked up "hello"
"Yeah, hey kaito I need your help"
"what's up?"
"Well I just saw this girl and I think I like her now"
"Ooooh maki got a crush! What she look like?"
"Long blonde hair, pink eyes, and really feminine"
"Oh you must be talking about kaede akamatsu, she also goes to our school"
"Jack pot" maki mumbled. "Thanks kaito" "no problem! And if you need help talk to her call me" the brunette smiled "thanks, bye" she hung up and walked home.
Monday rolled around and maki was a nervous wreck. Kaito told maki that morning he had talked to kaede and told her about maki and how great of a friend she would be and blah blah blah. Now this didn't phase Maki, what phased her is that she'd have to talk and interact with someone who isn't kaito and shuichi. Kaede walked into class and immediately noticed Maki and waved. Maki waved back as she blushed a little man, how can someone be this pretty? After class Maki quickly packed up and ran out to the school fountain. She sat down and stared at the cloudy sky. The brunette heard footsteps and looked to see kaede walking towards her "hey! You're Maki right?" Maki nodded. "Kaito told me about you, he's says you're such a sweet friend" Maki blushed. The two girls talked for awhile until kaede said she had to go home. Maki waved goodbye. She looked at her reflection in the water and sighed. i hope she likes me
It had been a few weeks since kaede and Maki hung out. This worries Maki so she shoved her phone out of her pocket and called kaede.
"Hey"
"Hey kaede, I was wondering if you'd like to go to this boba tea cafe with me this Friday after school? That's If you're free of course" Maki played with her hair. Kaede's voice brighten up "yeah I would love to!" Maki smiled. "Alright see you then, bye" "Bye" kaede hung up.
Friday had finally come and Maki was waiting for kaede at a booth next to the window. She'd ordered a strawberry shortcake smoothie from the lovers special menu. She took two straws, teared the wrapping off and put it in the drink. She stared out the window. Maki turned her head as she heard the door open to see kaede. The blonde wore a pink cropped t-shirt with a white tennis skirt. Maki blushed "h-hey kaede" "hey!" Kaede sat across from Maki and took a sip of the smoothie "mmmm! This is really good thank you for getting this" Maki nodded. Maki put her hands on the table "kaede I need to tell you something that I've been wanting to tell you for a while" before Maki could finish her sentence, kaede was already across the table giving her a kiss. Maki's eyes widened. Kaede let go of her face "I love you too baby" Maki smiled and kissed kaede's forehead. After they had there date Kaede invited kaede to her house. Maki accepted the offer and they walked home.
