( REAL LIFE )

"I'M GOING TO the washroom." rain said as she got out of sadie's embrace.

rain was upset. she didn't want to admit it, but it hurt her when sadie said they were just friends. she needed her time in the washroom to collect herself. rain leaned against the wall, hugging her knees. she forced herself to not shed a tear.  she took deep breaths to stop herself from crying. 

why was she so upset? why did it hurt her so much when sadie friend-zoned her? why couldn't her feeling for sadie fade away? sadie is straight. why did rain have to fall for a straight girl?

"rain, let me in. it's millie." rain sighed, getting up from the bathroom floor, slowly opening the bathroom door, making sure it was actually millie. "let me in." millie pushed through the door, getting in the bathroom. 

"where's sadie?" rain asked making sure she wasn't a round to listen to their conversation.

"she went to pick up the pizza. how are you?" millie placed her hand on rain's shoulder.

"could do better." rain shrugged.

"sadie, she just doesn't know how you feel. i'm sure if she knew-." millie started.

"mille, sadie's straight. it's fine. i'm over it." rain said, walking out of the bathroom.

"that girl." millie shook her head.

"oh my gosh! oh my gosh! oh my gosh!" rain screamed as she jumped up and down in finn's trailer. the stranger things kids and rain were chilling in finn's trailer during their lunch break. rain was jumping around, alarming everyone.

"what's wrong with her?" finn asks, pointing at rain.

"no idea." gaten shrugged.

"look! look! look!" rain shoved her phone in front of millie's face. causing millie to jump around and scream with the blond.

"girls, am i right." caleb says.

"hey, let them be overly excited." sadie says.

"yeah, let them be." noah agrees with sadie.

"what's so exciting anyways?" sadie asks.

"lilia buckingham is coming to visit!" rain screamed.

"oh." sadie frowned. "i uh gotta go." sadie swiftly walked out of finn's trailer.

sadie sink couldn't help but feel a ping of jealousy. rain had always fancied lilia, they even liked each other at some point. just knowing that lilia will be around just puts sadie in a deep, deep hole of jealousy. why was she jealous? that she did not understand. 

during their sleepover, rain was a little off. sadie did not know what was upsetting her. she wanted to hold her in her arms, and tell her that she will be alright. but sadie didn't do that. instead of holding rain in her arms, sadie offered to pick up the pizza. sadie was afraid. afraid that the feelings she's been feeling will not fade away.
