Downhill pt.1

Minyoung

I carried Mingyu in my arms as I walked around the garden area of my clan palace. The garden area seems to soothe me alot. I sat down on a bench and sighed as I place Mingyu beside me.

I don't know why but Renjun keep being over possesive and unreasonable these days. It's not like I'm cheating on him. He's seeing things the way it wasn't, what am I supposed to do about that?

*Flashback

I was thanking all the guest that came to Mingyu's birthday party. Alot of awkward little talks and awkward hugs that I don't mind but Renjun is nowhere to be found.

"Minyoung!" Jeno called me.

"Jeno, Jina thanks for coming. Mingyu really likes the toy you gave" I said.

"No big deal Minyoung. But where's Renjun? Isn't he supposed to be here too?" Jeno asked.

"He's resting maybe. But it's fine I can take this alone" I give them a smile.

"I'll come to see Renjun tomorrow. See you Minyoung" Jeno gave me a smile and walked out of the palace area.

I stretched my arms high. That's it for the guest. I'm excited to go and cuddle with Mingyu and Renjun upstairs. I walked up the stairs and pushed the door to my room open. I can my husband at the balcony looking down to the ground.

"Injun ah..."

"Do you think you have no husband Minyoung?"

"Eh?"

"Jeno is a single king. More muscular than I am. That's why you're flirting with him right?"

He came closer to me. Stands in front of me with so much anger in his eyes.

"Why would you say that?" I looked at him in the eyes. Trying to find an answer somewhere.

"Of course... You're not going to tell the truth"

I looked at him with so much confusion. Forehead scrunched, eyes pierced gazing at him.

"We should stop this then. Mingyu doesn't matter to you. You can flirt with all of my friends. Even flirt with Hwanwoong if you want. When Dahee came to slap you then only you'll realize"

"You know what Huang Renjun?" I walk around him never taking my eyes off the nonsense boy.

"What?"

"Cocky much huh?" I grab his collar and pulled him closer to me.

"Hear this closely Huang Renjun. If you and our son doesn't matter to me then I'm one heck of a woman. Huang Mingyu is OUR SON. WE MADE HIM. How in the world do you say that he doesn't matter to me?!"

I took a deep breath. I can see his pupils looking elsewhere. I tug on his collar to keep him focusing on me and only me.

"Where do you see me flirting with Jeno? He even said to come and see you tomorrow. What nonsense are you thinking? I'm not that kind of woman Renjun. Even telling me to go flirt with other men. Where's your dignity as my husband? Being possesive is fine but this is not the way to it" I glare at him.

"SEE WOMAN?! YOU WOULDN'T EVEN ADMIT YOU WERE FLIRTING. YOU EVEN LET HIM HUG YOU! WHERE'S YOUR DIGNITY AS A WOMAN?!" He yanks my arm away while shouting.

Mingyu who heard his father shouting, woke up and starts wailing and crying loudly. My eyes were clouded with tears. Not the tears of sadness. The tears of anger. He scolded me for something I didn't do.

I went to Mingyu but Renjun is being an obstacle and preventing me from getting to my son. I pushed him with all my might to the side. Tears starts to roll down my cheeks. I went to grab my son and held him tight.

"Huang Renjun... You really are being a jerk right now. I hate you... Don't come close to me or Mingyu and reflect on what you did!" I said before leaving him without letting him speak a word.

*End of flashback

That's how I end up here at the clan palace. I told Doyoung what happened. Of course Renjun did come to look for me here. But Doyoung chase him out of the castle area and even placed a barrier around it to prevent him coming closer.

"Young ah...." Doyoung came to me and took my son into his arms.

"You really don't want to talk it out with him?"

"You don't remember what he did? He even accuse you for having an affair with your own sister the last time he came before you put up the barrier. He is being stupid and not in the right mind. I am not in the right mind to speak with him"

Doyoung just nods understanding.

"If he's not calming down... I don't want Mingyu close to him until he became alittle sane"

"Your choice sis.... It's your choice" he ruffled my hair before taking Mingyu with him inside leaving me alone for some me time.

Oh Renjun.... What's happening to you?
