"What'd he say?" I asked, denying the possibility of them being harmed.

"They're trapped?" Dale asked.

"We need to go get them!" Amy yelled. "My sister's out there!"

"No." Shane said. "We can't risk losing anymore people."

"She's my sister, you son of a bitch!" Amy screamed, and stormed into the camper. Lori ran after her.

"We need ta' just wait a few more hours." Shane told everyone. "They'll be back."

Everyone for more than half the day we're all worried sick. Me and Sophia just stared at the ground. We were hopeless, and we couldn't receive any signal that they were alive. Nothing.

A loud car alarmed as it grew darker, everyone started to tense. Dale looked through his binoculars. "Car thief," he said. "Probably what it is.."

Then after a few more minutes, of the alarm going off, the Asian boy Glenn pulled up with the source of the noise. A bright red sports car with a black streak on the hood.

"Turn that dang thing off!" Dale ordered.

"I don't know how!" Glenn tried telling over the screaming of the car.

Dale opened the hood, wiggled things around and everything grew quiet.

Amy ran over to Glenn. "Where's my sister!?" Amy asked. "Is she okay? Is she with you?!"

"Yes--Yes! Yes, she's okay!" Glenn said, and raised his hands. "She's coming."

Everyone grew silent as the mail truck pulled in.

Morales came out the drivers seat, running to Miranda and their children. I smiled, and was so happy for them, Sophia held onto my waist.

Jacque and Andrea walked out of the back with T-Dog, his face was bruised, and cut--kind of like mine when Ed was angry over me not cooking dinner in time..

Morales called across the camp to someone in the car. "Hey," he said. "Helicopter boy, come meet everyone!"

"Helicopter--?" Lori said, standing up from talking to Carl, who was sobbing. A man, maybe in his thirties walked out, and Lori's jaw dropped. Tears ran down her face as she and Carl ran to him. The man picked up Carl, and fell to his knees. Carl let go and the man hugged Lori tight, her hands around his neck, her eyes looking straight at Shane, who was devastated.

"I thought you were dead--" Lori exclaimed. She kissed him long and passionately. "I thought--"

The man wiped the tears from her face.

It was her husband. I cried for them, and held onto Sophia. I'm happy for Lori.

I looked at Shane, and he stormed off away from everyone greeting each other.

Everyone was getting to know Rick, Lori's husband, who had Carl's head on his lap, and Lori's hand on his. He explained how, he was in a coma, and woke up after everyone was shot dead. He said he was feeling all sorts of emotions. The story was horrific.

I looked back at Ed, Sophia sitting on my lap, her head on my shoulder. Ed threw another wooden log in the our little fire.

Rick stopped his story as our flames went higher in the air.

Shane walked to us, and knelt down to our level. "How are you guys doin' Carol?" I sighed, looked at Ed, then back at Shane.

"Fine..." I said, trying not to Anger Ed. "Just....Fine."
