Day Four
Tangled Together
At eleven o'clock in the morning, with the sun at its sunniest and the hospital practically teeming with activity, Sana knew the most sensible thing to do was to stay there, and do the things she was supposed to do. Check some papers. Read some books. Do some rounds. Assist some operations. Hand out some instructions. There were lots of responsibilities, really, and only a person with a seriously warped mind would ever blow off such responsibilities, considering the wrath of the Chief, Sunmi ever did find out.
Yet here she was. Outside, standing in the training grounds. Looking on, as Tzuyu and Chaeyoung sparred, like they usually did—with too much intensity, and what she presumed would result to too much injuries.
With a sigh, Sana tried not to complain, as her two old teammates shouted the usual insults at each other. She had a purpose here—and she was darn well going to see it through.
"Are they still going to take long?" she asked, trying not to make her tone seem like a whine. Whining was for kids, really—and she pretty much didn't want to delve into memories of how whiny she used to be when she was still around twelve years old.
Beside her, Jeongyeon—the only other person present to observe the training—cocked her head, and gave her a thoughtful look. She was leaning on her sword, which she had just sharpened (or so she bragged) for the better part of the hour.
"Aren't we pretty cranky today?" She murmured, a smirk forming in her face.
Alright. So maybe she was a bit whiny. Just a bit.
"I am not cranky," she muttered, not looking at Jeongyeon. She folded her arms, and stared straight at the training fields, and the two women moving there. "I'm just hoping they'd finally stop and rest."
Silence—with the exception of flying insults in the air.
"You are cranky," Jeongyeon insisted, her voice sounding certain. Sana let herself look at Jeongyeon now, and immediately, she saw that ostrich's smirk had gotten wider. "You didn't get any sleep, did you?"
No.
"Of course I did," she scoffed airily.
Jeongyeon's eyes glinted. "Doesn't look like. I don't blame you. I bet what's with the moving in, you guys have been at it like rabbits til' dawn—oww!"
Immediately, Jeongyeon dropped her sword, and went to her head in slow, soothing circles. She winced. "Jeez—what's wrong with the truth?"
"That is not the truth!" Sana snapped, glaring at her in irritation.
"Well...you're lovers, aren't you? Nayeon was pretty much bitching about how she so wanted to be in your place—well, alright, she didn't exactly say it, but you get what I mean. She wants to be the girlfriend so she could fuck her like the crazy and make Chou babies."
The images of Chou babies with, spiteful eyes and mouths as crude and loud as the rabbit-looking agent filled Sana with an unexpected shudder—so not something she wanted to think about. She opened her mouth.
"We're not fu—" Instantly, she shut her mouth, and cursed herself inwardly. But Jeongyeon, observant girl that she was, already caught on.
"You mean Tzuyu still hasn't ravished you?" Jeongyeon exclaimed, her eyes widening.
No.
She remained silent, and instead turned a bright red in the cheeks.
"You guys still didn't have sex?" She went on, tone incredulous. "Is she freaking insane!? A hot piece of—er, I mean girl like you, in the same bed with her...and she still didn't do a thing?"
