She wouldn't have come, because Tzuyu knew there were better things to do than hanging out in a stupid bar, and drinking some stupid liquor with some stupid, out-of-this world friends. She could have been at home, resting, she really was tired and her aching muscles were proof enough of that. Or better yet, she could be training. She had, after all, been almost beaten by Sana, because she had underestimated said girl and she was tired, and distracted, and she really would have won, had circumstances been different and had let her off easy.
But Chaeyoung was persistent.
And annoying.
There was really no way to train, or even rest, when your loudmouthed idiot of a best friend would be yelling right at your ear if you even so much as suggested it.
"Hey Tzu! Over here! Can you see me?"
How could Tzuyu not see her, when the girl was all but waving her arms around like a yellow bird flapping its giant wings? With a sigh, Tzuyu moved forward, hands in her pockets and head down. She really was in no mood, and the fan girls trailing after her the whole afternoon had just added to the annoyance.
"Tzuyu-ah, would you please sign my shirt?"
"Tzuyu-ah, would you please sign my boobs?"
(to which Chaeyoung had a massive nosebleed)
"Tzuyu-ah, please go out with me—"
"Tzuyu-ah, have sex with me—"
(again, another nosebleed episode)
"TZUYU-AH I LOVE YOU!"
And the screams went on.
And one annoying voice in particular.
"Dude...we really should get on with the pretend girlfriend!"
She was not going to have a pretend girlfriend.
Especially not someone so annoying.
Why couldn't those girls just leave her alone?
"Bitch, why are you so slow? Hurry up now!"
Tzuyu merely grunted, and took her time in the leisure walk from the front door of the pub, to the corner where the other was sitting.
It wasn't really a large club, it was medium-sized, with polished wooden floors, and a pleasant lighting system that got you in the mood for relaxing, and drinking your worries away. There was the occasional smoke and sounds of laughter, and enough people to make you see that the place isn't that crowded, but popular enough to entice more people to hang out in it.
The best thing was, there were no fangirls.
Mostly because she had to get through the backdoor entrance to get here, and to avoid them.
It better stay that way.
When Tzuyu finally managed to reach the table where Chaeyoung was situated in, she grimaced, as the blond gave her a hearty slap on the back, and an enthusiastic grin.
"I knew you would come!" Chaeyoung exclaimed, eyes sparkling. "I was already about to go to your house to drag your ass here!"
Which, in Tzuyu's opinion, was why she came early. If Chaeyoung had dragged her, there would be yelling. And loud chatters. The ear-splitting voice alone would be enough to alert fangirls from a fifty-mile radius.
"Where are they, Chae?" She grunted again, eyes quietly scanning the place.
"Mou, I don't know... but they'll be here in a few minutes! So, don't worry!"
