" FWEEETTT!!!!" As coach madden blew hard on the whistle round her neck grabbing our attention "Right! ladies and other creatures, finish off our back to training we will finish off with 200m sprint freestyle."

We all groaned and moaned, we were all exhausted from today back to training session and Coach Madden made sure if any of us lacked from her strict summer program that we felt it today. I for one was glad I stuck with it as I grabbed for my water bottle and took a quick swig from it.

My muscles burned and my lungs demand for me to take more oxygen in. Even though I kept to the program coach had issued to us, I still felt tired from today practise.

I looked round as I grabbed for my cap and goggles that I dumped on one of the pool chairs to see that no one was moving to the deep end to where the starter blocks were. "I'd rather drown right now." I muttered under my breathe as I headed up to the deep end.

"That's the spirit Bennett! What I like to see from our captain." I heard coach say as she took her position near the lifeguard chair so she had a good view of the pool.

Coach Madden use to be in the Army, god knows why she became a P.E teacher but I was starting to get the hint she liked to shout.

"Riley! Hey wait up!" I heard Wesley say as he walked over to me quickly without running. Following behind him was Alice my other best friend, I continued to head to the deep end whilst multi tasking of putting my cap back on my head which was more of a hassle to put it back on.

Two of the best feelings after finishing a hard day of training where: removing your cap and washing your hair. Which Id rather do then doing 200m sprints.

"Hey bish w-why you no wait for us?" Wesley whines as he comes up alongside me with Alice next to him.

"W-why d-dont you hurry up then!" I mimicked him as I rolled my eyes at his child like behaviour.

"Seriously Rey! You road runner or nemo? Stop going so fast!" Alice called our as she stopped to put her own cap on and quickly rejoined us.

I waited for Alice to stop next to me before side booty bumping her, which caught her off guard and sent her straight into Wes who wasn't paying any attention who went crashing to the floor.

"Thats what I call a perfect demonstration of the human domino affect." As I laughed down at Wesley.

"Bennett!!!" He screeched in his high pitch voice. "You're such a dick I swear!" As he picked himself up from the floor. It wasn't long till I got what I deserved as he punched me in my arm.

"Oof that really hurt." I said sarcastically said as I rubbed my other arm just for added affect. "A fetus could punch harder then you. pussy!! ." I smirked, knowing that Wesley knew we was joking around.

He rolled his eyes at me. "Neither compliment flatters either of us." As he placed his hands on his hips in a sassy manner.

"Can you two stop out gaying on one another." Alice giggled as she walked pass us whilst sliding her goggles down to her eyes.

"Oh Alice my bi fairy, you hurt my feelings." Wesley dramatically said as he placed both hands on his heart and pretending he was shot or something.

He should of been in drama club instead.

I couldn't help but chuckled at both of my best friends as we reached the starting blocks were some of the other members of the team had picked which lane to go in.
