"Golden is royalty, red means prosperity and purple means faith. The color white symbolizes dignity while green is and has always been the vision of life."
Taehyung's world was still floating about the sky as he listened to her attentively for he doubted he would be able to hear anything if not attentive. Especially with his ears still ringing and the skin on his cheeks burning naked before the thousand eyes.
Jungkook looked rather enthusiastic about the whole situation they were put together. Excited even. It was expected considering he was a celebrity and probably was used to occasions like this where he was the center of so many's attention. But the answer to his excitement was yet to be interpreted.
Taehyung felt a little claustrophobic though they were in an open place.
Occasional cheers and happy shouts were nothing new by now.
The empty jars sprawled over each table speaking of the extra enthusiasm in the people around him.Jungkook sat across him, on the traditional table that was previously crafted in the center of the circle, if he acknowledges that as crafting.
On his right and obviously Jungkook's left, on the head of the table sat the very old lady who had started it all.
"And this one?"
Jungkook's desperate tone had the people around them chuckling as few wolf whistled, leaving Taehyung, who was barely as drunk as his friends, biting the inside of his cheek in shame.
Judging by the way Jungkook's eyes were shining, he didn't feel the slightest bit of remorse for his way of acts. He again pointed at the ribbons that were kept neatly on the surface of the wooden table. His voice a little broken on the edge emphasizing his naive irritation for he wasn't being answered as fast as he'd like.
The lady Taehyung was yet to know the name of let out a long chuckle that'd almost morph into a roll of laughter if Jungkook wouldn't huff and finally have her speaking.
"Why so hurrying my boy. Or should we call you Sun? Or maybe Moon?"Taehyung finally found a way to mask his embarrassment. By keeping a poker face as hard as his will power warrants him, though the said boy has never been even so good in a single round of poker.
He couldn't look at the woman in the eyes on his right nor could he stare at Jungkook's big doe ones.
So he just glared at the polished piece of wood before like it had done something to him, occasionally gazing at the sleeves of the black layer under his floral shirt."Golden, red, purple, white and green. Five ribbons. What does this one symbolize miss lady?"
Maybe it's Jungkook's way of speaking or the fact that he called her 'miss lady', however it had her answering his question.
"The black one emphasizes the term, 'til death do us apart."
Maybe it's the chilly ocean breeze or maybe the words she spoke, however it had a lean strike of shiver running down Taehyung's spine. He could hold his poker face for just so long before his eyes were widening and he gazed the black ribbon thoroughly.
