When we arrived back home I went to my room and laid down on my bed, a few minutes later my husky whiskey came and laid down next to me. When I turned and laid on my back he turned and laid his head on my stomach which made me laugh and just pet his head, when Alex came in with my bags whiskey placed himself with two paws on each side of my stomach. I looked at Alex and he looked at me with the same shock look on our faces as we turned to look at whiskey, neither one of us knew what had gotten into him since Alex was the one who got me whiskey for my twelve birthday and he has been the one taking care of him while I was away in public school.

"Can I ask you something princess" Alex said
"Sure Alex what is it" I said
"When you and your mate mated did he used a condom" he asked
"I don't remember, why do you ask" I said
"Well there is a chance you may be pregnant princess, how about we go get you checked out or I get the doctor to come see you here" he said
"Yeah let's go Alex, the sooner we find out the sooner I can get back to taking my nap" I said

We walked to the doctors office and when Alex told her why we were there she said that she was going to draw some blood and that would give us a result that is accurate and fast, once she drew the blood she went out and didn't come back for a few minutes later.

"So what is the result doctor" Alex said
"Princess you are pregnant" she said
"No there is no way that I can be pregnant, i mean I was with my mate one time before he rejected me and that was last night how can I already be pregnant and get a positive result so soon" I asked
"Can I ask you something my princess" she said
"Yeah go ahead" I said
"Is you mate an alpha" she asked
"Yes he is" I said
"Well that's how you got pregnant so soon princess, he is an alpha and you are of royalty blood which means that you were meant to get pregnant as soon as you mated with your mate to continue the royal blood line" she said

I got up and as soon as I was on my feet, I fell and everything went black and I didn't know what was happening. When I came too I was in my room with whiskey laying his head on my stomach and Alex sitting on a chair next to my bed, when he saw me he got up and brought me a glass of water for me to drink. I took a few sips before placing my head back on the pillow and turned to see Alex while he sat on the chair once again.

"What happend" I asked him
"You fainted princess, the doctor said it was normal due to the shock of the news and all the information that she gave you" he said
"What am I going to do Alex, i can't be a single mom" I said
"Yes you can princess and if you allow me I will be there with you protecting both you and your pup, the only thing you need to decide is if you going to tell your mate that you are pregnant with his pup" he said
"Thank you Alex but no I am not going to tell him anything, he lost that right the moment that he rejected me after being with me. When he did that not only did he reject me but he rejected my pup as well, this pup is mine and mine only understood" I said
"As you wish princess" he said
"Alex can I ask you a favor" I said
"Yes princess what is it" he asked
"Can you stay by my side like me personal body guard I really feel safe with you around" I said
"Of course princess I will talk to the king when he comes back so I can be your personal body guard" he said
"Its okay Alex I will talk to daddy just stay here with me while I take a nap" I said

He nodded as I closed my eyes and started to allow the darkness to take over me, all I wanted was to be able to sleep and not worry about anything. I felt a blanket being placed on me and I fell into a complete peaceful sleep, when I woke up mom and dad were in my room talking to Alex while whiskey still had his head on my stomach. My pup isn't here yet and he already has a faithful friend and protector, I turned so my back was facing my parents and Alex whiskey then placed two of his paws against my back and growled I guess someone wanted to get near me and whiskey wasn't having it. I could hear Alex telling whiskey to calm down but he wouldn't listen to him, I lifted my hand up and started to pat his head making him calm down and laid back down on my hip before I put my hand under my pillow and fell back asleep.
