PRIVATE CONVERSATION

GABRIELAS POV

When I woke up I was startled that I was in my room, last thing I remember was laying down outside close to the rose garden with Elena and Marcos. I guess I must have fallen asleep with them and someone brought us all back inside, I got up and went to the crib to check on Elena and Marcos and see that they are still asleep. I walked to the bathroom and splashed some water on my face, I stretch my hand and grab a towel and dry my face. I turn around and head back in to the my room, as I was making my way to my closet to get something else to wear I hear a knock on the door and I walk to open it. As I open the door I see Fabian standing in front of me, I don't move from my spot and try to leave as little space as possible so Fabian could look in and see the crib I where I have Elena and Marcos in.

"Can we talk please" he asked
"About what Alpha" I asked
"About what happened at the cells" he said
"Let me change and I will meet you in the office" I said
"I would rather wait her for you and then walk with you to the office together" he said
"Fine" I said

I went back into my closet and changed into some jeans and a t-shirt, then walk in to my room and walk into my room and go to the crib and see that Elena and Marcos are still sleeping which makes me smile. I give them a kiss on their heads and then walk to my door and open it, as I'm stepping out of the room I see Alex and mind link telling him to keep an eye on Elena and Marcos as well as to inform my mother if hey start to cry. Once Fabian and I made it to the office he opened the door for me, I walked in and then he did as well before he closed the door behind him.

"What do you want to know about what happened Alpha" I asked
"Why did you assume that I knew about what my friends had done" he asked
"They are your friends, they were at the party the day we met so why wouldn't I assume you had something to do with it" I said
"Is that the only reason" he asked
"Yes, what else could there be for me to assume you had something to do with it" I asked
"I don't know but another thing I didn't understand was why you got mad when they said they were after the kids" he asked
"They are babies and as queen it is my duty to protect those who need it" I said
"You act more like a mother to them then a queen" he said
"What are you trying to say Alpha" I say
"Alpha Mendoza wanted to take the kids to use them against you so you would marry him, the only reason he would do that is if you were the real mother of Elena and Marcos and if that is true then I would be their father" he said

I looked at him not saying anything trying to see of he knew something or if he was only talking to see how I reacted, my face was emotionless but my heart was betraying me beating one hundred beats per minute.

"Why don't you answer, you face says anything but your beat tells a different story. So what is it are you or are you not their mother" he asked
"If they are or aren't you will never find out" I say

I try to walk pass him but as soon as I am near him he grabs me by my arm, I look at his hand and follow his arm up until I am looking into his eyes.

"Please Gaby I just want to know if they are or not, if they are I can help keep them safe. I would never take them from you if they are ours, they need both of their parents with them to be able to protect them and teach them what to do and what not to do" he said

I lowered my head and held back my tears, I didn't want him to see me cry. He released his hold in me and we stayed there not saying anything, I was debating of telling him or not telling him the truth. I asked my wolf if she thought that what he has said was the truth and he wouldn't take Elena and Marcos from me if he knew the truth, she right away answered that she knew he was telling the truth and that if he even tried to she wouldn't allow it and nether would his wolf. I looked at Fabian one last time and took his hand, he turned to look at me and I motioned with my head to follow me. He followed me and we headed towards the third floor, I asked Alex to put Elena and Marcos in their room to which I got a yes your majesty. By the time we got to the third floor Alex was already standing in front of Elena and Marcos room letting me know that he had done as I told him, when I stopped in front of him he moved allowing me and Fabian to enter the room where we found Elena and Marcos wide awake playing with the stuffed wolf animals that he gave them as soon as mom saw us she smiled at me and walked out of the room leaving me and Fabian alone in the room with Elena and Marcos.
