After a lot of convincing Jayden goes to bed; at
11:45. Jayden got up at 5:00 and began training. Something was wrong but it wasn't any nighlock. Jayden decided he would go and check on his friends. He gently slid open Mike's door. After taking a quick glance and seeing him sleeping with one hand hanging off the bed he went to Antonio's door. The sense that something was wrong got stronger. He slid the door open, slowly.
He saw Antonio sitting up in his bed. "Antonio are you alright?" Jayden asked. "Wha- a yeah I'm fine." Antonio Answered. Jayden knew when his best friend is lying. "What happened?" Jayden asked, taking a step closer. "It was stupid it doesn't matter." Antonio reassured. "If it's so unimportant than you should have no reason to not tell me." Jayden reasoned.
That's when he thought he figured it out. "It's okay. Your not the only one who gets nightmares."
"I-Wa-How?" Antonio eventually finds the right words. "How often do you get them?" Jayden asks as he moves closer. "Not frequently but tonight's was pretty bad." Antonio's face showed no signs of lying. "Wanna talk about it?" Jayden asked, offering a gentle smile to his best friend.
"It was about you dueling Deker." Antonio explains. "You battled Deker and you- you didn't win." "Antonio I thought you of all people would have more faith in me." Jayden joked. "Wait one second." Jayden ran out of the room and returned later holding his hands behind his back.
He pulls out his hand and in it is a tiny container of slime. "Slime?" Antonio questions. "Don't ask why I have it. It's supposed to relieve stress or something but it's gold so I thought you'd like It." Jayden laughs at his own attempt at comforting His friend.
Antonio laughs with him. After they were done playing with the kids toy they agreed on a little morning training. "I can't believe you own slime." Antonio laughed. "It was for a- yeah I have no excuse." Jayden said. They were soon brought back to reality when they walked into the training room.
As they trained Antonio asked,"What time do you have to meet Deker?"
"Around noon." Jayden replied simply. "Do you get nightmares?" Antonio questioned. "You said,'Your not the only one to get nightmares,' so I kinda assumed." Jayden visibly went a little more pail."Only sometimes. And it's mostly just memories. Not a big deal." Jayden assured. Antonio raised and eyebrow but left it at that.
"Welp, I can't operate on an empty stomach!" Antonio said, changing the subject. "Wanna get some breakfast?" Jayden nods and Antonio begins making eggs as Mentor comes in.
"Jayden, do you think you are ready?" He asked, referring to the fight against Deker. "I have to be." Jayden Answered. He saw how Deker fights and it will be a challenge but he believes he could do it. Slowly everyone began joining them for breakfast. Jayden and Antonio got done eating first.
Jayden went outside to the outdoor training room. Instead of training he just sat on the bench and stared into the
Trees. "You alright bro?" Antonio asks as he walks toward him. "Yeah, I'm just thinking about the fight." Jayden Answered. "I have faith in you." Antonio offered a confirming smile."Thanks but even if I defeat him how do we know he's gone for good this time?" Jayden asks with a hint of worry even though he was trying to mask it. Antonio pull something out of his jean pocket and hands it to Jayden.
"Stop worrying. We'll figure it out." Jayden looks down and in it is the small container of golden slime. Jayden laughs. "Thanks, Antonio." He says. "I have to meet Deker in only a couple hours. I'm gunna go on a walk to clear my head." Antonio was about to object but Jayden had already left.
He grabbed his bag on the way out and was planning on trying out the Beetle Disk again. He made his was back to the clearing and put the disk on his sword. The first two times he ended up getting launched backwards. He didn't get knocked out but was definitely hurt.
He tried the disk one more time. Jayden held the flaming sword in front of his body, swing it around his head and held informs of him again. It hurt. A lot. But he continued to hole sit in front of him. Soon the fire turned blue for a full 10 seconds before turning back to red. This was a sign that he had mastered it. Relief washed over him and he finally aloud himself to put the sword down.
He stared at his burned, bleeding knuckles as grabbed some wraps form his bag. Pouring some cold water on them first. He took a drink from his water bottle. He packed up his bag and headed back to the Shiba house. It had been 3 hours since he left. Only around four hours until he must fight Deker. He walked into the house all injured but ignored the looks he got and went to his bedroom.
He opened his bathroom door and looked into the mirror. He had a large cut on his temple but it wasn't to bad. It had stopped bleeding so he just cleaned it. "Jayden?" Antonio Said as he knocked on the door. Jayden put the medical supplies away and opened the door. "Hey, Antonio. Everything alright?" Jayden asked. "Yeah, I was coming to ask you that." Antonio Answered.
"I'm fine. I was just....training." Jayden said. Antonio gave a skeptical look. "Look, I have more training to do so I'll be in the training room if you need me." Jayden said as he pushed pass his friend.

I can't believe anyone literally read this. I understand nobody still watches power Rangers Samurai anymore but I still like it cause I'm weird. I also understand that if you were a fan from the series gig will have noticed that is not how the Beetle Disk works but I aid I would add my own mechanics so here I am.Word count: 1038
