Jeff's Pov
We got a ways into the forest when (Y/N) stops to catch her breath.
"Hurry up, the police are probably already looking for you. You are going to get me caught." I say leaning against a tree.
"Not until you tell me where we are going"
"I told you, it's safe. Now come on, take my hand." I say holding my hand out to her. She hesitates but takes my hand. I start sprinting to two trees with the proxy symbol on them. Once we are through the trees we arrive in the slender forest. I let go over her hand.
"Follow me. And hurry up." I snap. We go up to the front of the mansion and I open the door.
"What is this place?" She asks.
"Hey! Proxies! Fresh meat!" I yell to the rest of my- well, let's call them family, ignoring her question. I walk upstairs leaving her alone to be pestered for the next few hours by Ben and Sally. I go in my room and lay on my bed, on my back.
I drift off to sleep, but a few hours later I'm woken up by a scream. I jolt upright and run out to the hallway. I hear the scream again, noticing it's from the room across from mine... Ej's. I knock on the door
"Jeff!? Hel-!" It's (Y/N), and her words are cut off and followed by muffled noises. I kick the door, breaking the lock and burst inside to see (Y/N) with her hands tied above her head and Ej holding a scalpel, his free hand over her mouth.
"What the hell Ej!?" I yell forcing him off of (Y/N)
He shrugs "A guy's got to eat."
"That's all you're going to say? How do you even know she is human?" I say untie (Y/N). She sits up rubbing her wrists
"I can smell her. She reeks of human-" he said like it was no big deal
"Listen here, keep your nasty hands off of her or I'll kill you" I say helping her off the bed. He just shrugs and I lead (Y/N) out of the room.
"Are you okay? He didn't touch you with the scalpel did he?" She shakes her head. "Good. Now tell me what happen." I growl through clenched teeth.
