Where her heart belongs

Her eyes sparkled when her vision was filled by his presence,

Her lips conveyed a smile that gave light on her innocence.

With skin that was pale as white,

He portrayed an angel, his heart echoed with might.

She lived with a burning hope that one day he'd notice her.

But time fled and winter returned with clouds as grey as they could appear.

He had deep blue eyes that called for the sea,

and her hazel ones were crying out in glee.

When finally there came a day he asked her to sway,

Her heart pounded against her chest as the music gave way.

In the winter ball with snow  crystals hanging from above

She held his hand as they glided to the melodious sound.

They looked into each others blissful eyes

and instantly he found himself falling deeper in a spear of her smiles.

The song ended but  they went on like it was only the start,

till they're feet moved along  the swift beats of they're heart.

“your eye's are like the ocean in which I'd get lost"

Her lips spoke betraying her secret thought.

She blushed as his eyes brightened up,

Her cheeks a shallow red which made time stop.

They soon were in a different dimension where people there were none,

a place where the stars carpeted the sky and they're lives had only begun.

months danced by and times changed;

both were deeply in love and soon to be engaged.

He kneeled down on the cold wooden floor and held a bright red rose,

He looked right into her hazel  eyes  and her racing heart froze .

Her ears rung as the 2 words lingered in the air,

her heart danced,her feet buzzed,happy tears were already there.

she leaped onto him as he took out the magnificent ring;

With a smile that was plastered on her face,“yes I will!" he heard her sing.

Finally the day was near.

A night before the wedding was already here.

She stood in front of the giant mirror

like glue her smile contrasted her tear.

suddenly her heart leaped when she heard her phone.

With complete excitement she let out a moan.

And down it fell along with all her hope.

Her phone splattered,no more could she cope.

she collapsed onto the freezing cold ground,

as if struck by lighten she was astound.

Her mother ran to her as soon as she heard the news.

For death had ended its final and ultimate truce.

On seeing her daughter she ran to her side

as she cried onto her mother's shoulders :she was no more a bride.

weeps and cries went on till all her strength was drained.

her eyes a deep red,her voice hoarse and her pale cheeks were stained.

“he's gone." she whispered into her mother's ears.

Her mother stayed silent for she could bear no more tears.

the next day at her wedding without the groom

she stood in the aisle as silence filled the room.

For death had trapped him in its tangling claws,

she laid next to his tomb, for destiny had broken its own laws.

her insignificant weeps wouldn't bring him back to her, she thought;

Her misery would slowly kill her from the inside even if she fought.

And then with a deep sigh of utter grief,

Death stole life from her like a heartless,brutal thief.

Her body laid lifeless next to his: A heartbreaking sight.

Like the next Romeo and Juliet, after death they're souls would reunite.
