Different From Before | Mihyun

Chapter 4

Birds were chirping everywhere as Dahyun and Mina sat comfortably on the bench outside their school.

Dahyun hummed unwritten melodies (out of habit) as she went through all the photos and videos in Mina's camera, checking if she finds another set of her funny looking pictures.

She did.

And each time she does, one slap gets to Mina's arm. "Where are the decent ones?"

"I kept it hidden." Mina said and looked at Dahyun. "It bothers me when people keeps asking 'who's this pretty girl?' 'can you give me her number?' 'set me up with her.' you know?"

Dahyun wasn't able to say anything after that. And then she stared at Mina when Mina started taking pictures of another pretty girl; tall and very pretty.

"Hey!" Dahyun slapped Mina's arm again. "Don't take pictures without her permission!"

"But—"

Nayeon pushed through the momentary bluster of wind and ran towards her cousin, launching herself at the younger with open arms.

Sana followed behind Nayeon, eyes wandering to the benches on the side where she found Dahyun and Mina fighting over the camera again.

"Sana!" Nayeon called. "Sana-ya, this is Tzuyu. Pretty ain't she? But, yeah, yeah, I know I'm prettier."

Sana and Tzuyu simultaneously deadpanned at Nayeon.
