you and tsuchigomori ran towards the new year's festival in excitement, well, you were running towards the festival while dragging him by the hand.

you both stopped by the entrance and admired the view, seeing how many stands and how many people there were. "look look!" you pointed at the candy stand, "can we get some?" you beamed at him and eagerly pulled out coins from your drawstring bag. "alright," he chuckled as you both went to the stand. you bought some f/f and tsuchigomori bought some bekko candy. both of you took a seat at a nearby bench and looked at all the colourful lights and all the people walking around in their colourful yukatas and kimonos.

you both finished eating and tsuchigomori started to stare at one of the stands that said 'goldfish scooping'. "hey y/n-san, do you want to go over there?" he pointed at the stand and both your faces immediately lit up. you nodded as you both headed towards the stand. you both paid to play the game and started scooping up the goldfish and putting it in a bowl. but the thin paper on your scooper started to break while picking up one of the goldfish. you got one more goldfish before the paper broke. "aw," you mumbled in defeat as you saw how much goldfish you got; 4. you looked at how tsuchigomori was going and saw that his scooper's paper finally broke. he got 7 goldfish and you were amazed by how much he got.

"dang it, haha," he laughed when his paper broke and he collected his goldfish in a small bag and you did the same. "you got so many tsuchigomori-kun!" you lifted up your bag and showed him how much he got compared to yours. he grins and gives you his, "you deserve this more than me," tsuchigomori smiles and places the bag of fish in your free hand. you immediately start smiling back and giggle, "thank you!"

the two of you continue walking around the festival, continuously looking at the stands. finally, you arrive at the lake where the fireworks were about to begin in a minute. tsuchigomori finds a spot to sit and you both sit down. it was a good spot, it had the perfect view of the fireworks and it was on the grass.

you pull out some candy from your bag, bekko candy. you bought it while tsuchigomori wasn't looking because you know that it's his favourite candy. you tap him on the shoulder and give him a handful, tsuchigomori's face lights up at the sight of the candy and looks up at you, "is it for me?" he points at himself, hoping that it is. you nod with a grin as he takes them and immediately starts eating them.

"y/n-san! the fireworks are starting!" tsuchigomori points at the fireworks while still eating the candy. "that ones so pretty!" you point at a f/c firework that was in the shape of a flower. he glances at you, seeing how  mesmerised you are by the beautiful fireworks. you look back, seeing him and you both grin at eachother, giggling to yourselves as the fireworks light up your faces.
