akane was the queen of popularity, she was sweet, kind, caring and cute. y/n liked her, a lot. she's liked her since the start of the year; let's call it... love at first sight?

today was the day y/n has been preparing for for at least a month and a half. class just ended and akane is watering her plants, y/n packed up her stuff and pulled out a container that had a small raspberry pie inside; it was akane's favourite food.

y/n walks up to akane who's still watering her plants and flowers. "uhm... aoi-chan?" y/n holds her hands behind her back and looks up at akane, "yes, l/n-chan?" akane smiles at y/n. "uh- i just wanted to say that... i've liked you for a while now, and... i like you!" y/n bows and hands akane the container of raspberry pie.

"of course, l/n-chan!" akane takes the container and grins widely, "i've liked you for a while too!~" y/n looks up, not expecting her answer. "really?" y/n asks, mouth agape. "mhm!" akane answers. "so... are we dating now?" y/n asks, stars in her eyes as she stares into akane's. "yes!" akane giggles and they both share a hug.

the next day

"y/n-chan!" y/n turns around to see akane who grabs her hand with a large smile on her face. "hey akane-chan," y/n blushes as they head towards their lockers. y/n and akane change into their indoor shoes and begin walking to their class, talking and holding hands. "aoi-chan! oh?" aoi appears behind them, staring directly at y/n and akane's hands, "what's this about?" aoi raises a brow, visibly confused. y/n had to admit, she was afraid of telling aoi because she knew that aoi liked akane. "y/n-chan and i are dating!" akane announces, a slight blush appearing on her face and with a huge smile. she looked ecstatic. aoi on the other hand had a mix of emotions painted on his face; confusion, sadness and anger. aoi stared down at y/n making her freeze on the spot.

"oh," aoi says, annoyance audible in his voice. "w-we'll be going to class now, aoi-kun hehe," y/n nervously laughs before pulling akane into their classroom. "that must've been awkward... sorry y/n-chan," akane says, comforting y/n. "it's fine, really!" y/n exclaims.

they both sit at their desks and prepare their things, talking to each other as they pull out their pencil cases and books. more classmates begin to head into their classroom and do the same.

after the lesson

"that lesson felt like an hour!" y/n exclaims, packing up her stuff quickly. akane giggles as she and y/n head out of the classroom. all of a sudden, it felt like someone was staring at them. y/n turns around to see aoi, watching them with an intense stare and following them to the rooftop. "hm," y/n stares at him as they all walk up the stairs and arrive at the rooftop. akane and y/n sit down at a spot... and aoi sits down as well?

"fancy meeting you two here!" aoi exclaims as he starts to eat his lunch. y/n and akane give each other a look of confusion before turning there gaze back to
aoi. akane hums in response as she begins eating her bento, y/n doing the same. "hey aoi-san, do you remember when we used to visit each others house and play together?" akane nodded, still eating her bento, "we used to be so close," he grinned at akane and glared at y/n, sending chills down her spine.

they all continued to eat their lunch in silence, until akane finished her bento. akane pulls out a box of chocolate from her bag, "y/n, so you want some?" she smiles warmly, opening the box and placing it in between them. y/n nods and proceeds to grab a few chocolates and eating them. both of the girls start to laugh and talk.

aoi stares at them, thinking: 'aoi-chan looks happy with her, well, aoi-chan did accept y/n's confession... i guess y/n has something in her that other people don't.' aoi finished his food, "i'll get going now," he grabs his containers before flashing them a warm smile and walks towards the stairs.

y/n and akane continue to talk until the bell rung, making them hurriedly pack up their stuff and run to their classroom, they were a few minutes late.

the next day

y/n arrives at school, walking towards the classroom where akane was. "l/n-san!" y/n turns around to see aoi, he catches up to her, "hows the relationship going?" he asks with a smile. "uh... it's going good, i'm going out with her on the weekend," y/n replies, slightly nervous. "oh well, i wish you luck! i have to get going to my classroom, bye l/n-san!" aoi runs off to his classroom, leaving y/n standing there, dumbfounded. "huh," y/n mumbled to herself before walking to her own classroom.

y/n reaches the classroom and akane averts her gaze to her immediately, "y/n-chan!" akane's face lights up with a beaming smile. "hey akane-chan!" y/n dashes over to akane and hugs her tight, akane quickly hugging her back. "y/n-chan, do you like f/f cake?" akane lets go with curiosity in her eyes. y/n nods, "how'd you know?" y/n tilts her head. "aoi-kun told me," akane smiles. y/n replies with a nod before the teacher comes in, starting the class.

lunch time

y/n and akane go up to the rooftop to eat lunch, but on their way there they say aoi, y/n stops him to talk to him. "aoi-kun, how'd you know my favourite cake and why'd you tell akane-chan?"

"i have my ways, and i just wanted to help a little bit. i've accepted that you girls are together and aoi-chan being with you makes her happy. i have no right to judge your relationship with her, so i'll support you two until the very end!" aoi exclaims with a wide grin. y/n stands there, eyes wide and brows furrowed in confusion. she couldn't get herself to reply, she thought that aoi really liked akane and that he would do everything in his power to break them up.

"thank you aoi-kun!~" akane giggles and smiles at aoi before the girls say their goodbyes and go to the rooftop to eat.

over the few months, y/n and akane have gotten closer and gone on a few dates. they talk more at school and make physical contact a lot (hugs, kisses on cheek, etc.)

one day, akane and y/n were sitting together under the shade of a tree, eating their lunch. aoi spots them and watches from a far, seeing how cute they are together; they were hugging, laughing, holding hands, and even feeding each other. aoi has been shipping them ever since he started supporting them. "hey l/n-chan, aoi-chan!" aoi ran up to them, waving. "hi aoi-kun, what's up?" y/n asked. "i just wanted to say, you look cute together," aoi smirks, looking at both their blushing faces. "s-stop!!" akane exclaims, visibly embarrassed.

"i agree, we do look cute together, aoi-chan," y/n grins and watches akane blush even harder. they all burst into laughter before striking up a conversation about their next date.
