Heyyyy so uh I kinda forgot to describe what Emma looked like so I'm yea sorry anyway if you like it pls go suggest it to your friends

In aTV Host voice:
"Previously on Emma Jackson and The Ray of Night"
"He can't stand it when it's bright," my auntie said from somewhere. Suddenly, I heard a sound I can't explain, and a cold hand grasp my shoulder.
Emma's P.O.V
I scream.
I, Emma Jackson, solemnly swear that I have only ever screamed once or twice in my life. I guess this was the third time. I couldn't help it, the hand was so cold and small, wearing a T-Shirt only made it worse. The person that grabbed me stumbled a bit before regaining his balance. My mum flicked the lights on. I turned around to see a pale boy with black hair and a jacket way to thick for this Sydney heat. Aunt Sally ran over to hug him, and the boy didn't seem to mind returning the hug.
"Nico! I can't believe you managed to shadow travel so far! Are you ok? Do you need anything?" My aunt looked worried, but the bo- er, Nico, just laughed and said, "No, no, but thanks for the offer. What was the big emergency?"
Aunt Sally bit her lip, "Umm, do you think you could do such a big trip back to Camp Half-Blood again?"
It was Nico's turn to look worried, "Uh, I think I can, why?"
My aunt leaned over and whispered something into his ear. Something about me. I could tell because Nico's eyes widened, then looked at me.
"So... um, Emma... you wanna go on a trip?" Uh oh. I did not like the sound of that.
"But what about Percy? And Annabeth? And my mum and auntie?" I was getting scared. My palms were sweaty, and my heart was racing. Were we just going to leave my family here, defenceless against whatever that monster was? Just then, a massive creature came out of nowhere. It was a huge dog, a hellhound. I had learned about them in Greek Mythology class. As if on cue, Percy and Annabeth came running up the stairs, and jumped onto the dog's back. My mum and auntie did the same. Nico motioned for me to climb onto his back, piggy-back style. Assuming the monster was still out there, I did as I was told, hoping not to die. The monster broke through the wall, just as everything went black.

You know, black is my favourite colour. Well, it was. This feeling of being sucked into blackness was just... how do I say this? Like being pulled into a black hole. How the hell does Nico do this? Anyway, I cling to Nico, not wanting to get lost in this dark void, but I feel bad, so I loosen up a little. And before we know it, we're in the middle of the woods. Everyone else lands on the leaves, but I land face-first into a pine tree. OUCH. Percy, idiotic Percy, laughs so hard, a booger hangs out of his nose. Once I regain my balance, I ask Nico, "Where are we?" but instead of answering, he points behind me. As I turn around, I see something. It looks like a summer camp. There is a big entrance that says "Camp Half-Blood". I turn back to ask what Camp Half-Blood is, but instead, I see my mum smiling with tears in her eyes.
"Mum... what's going on? What is this place? Why are you crying? Mum tell me, please.." I feel like crying too. I look around at my family. Nico seems to be very interested in his shoes. Percy and Annabeth look at each other in a worried way (A/N ok I was stuck in sorry that sounds weird)
"Honey, you're gonna have to go with Percy, Annabeth and Nico from now on. Camp Half-Blood is for demigods only, and me and your mum are full humans... we can't come." Aunt Sally is the first to break the silence. But I can't believe it. I have to be separated from my mum. She had spent her life protecting me, and now I'm just gonna leave her! This isn't fair! Can't she have a spell put on her or something? Percy comes and puts a hand on my shoulder.
"My mom is right... and we should go quick, Mrs O'Leary looks like she needs to go eat something."
I hug my mum so hard, I don't think she can breathe.
"You stay safe, I'll see you at the end of summer."
"I'm gonna miss you, mum,"
"So will I honey, but we're gonna right through this, ok?"
"Ok..."
I take a deep breath and walk into the camp. I see huge cabins that have the sign of a god on each of them. There's different types of kids surrounding each one. I immediately notice a dark one that has the symbol of Hades on the top. I stop and stare at it for a few seconds, but my staring is cut off by a boy walking out of the cabin. Nico looks up and sighs,
"That's my half-brother, Jake. He turned up about a week ago, and was claimed almost immediately. I get that the Big Three are allowed to have kids, but Hades could've told me he was busy." Percy choked on... air? It's impossible to tell. I decided to ignore the... non child appropriate joke.
"Hey, Jake! Come over here! I want you to meet someone. This is Emma, she just came today." Jake looked almost identical to me. Brown hair, brown eyes, and he was even my height.
"Hey Emma! Nico, uh, there's been an, ahem, accident in the cabin."
Nico sighed, "Seriously? Did someone beat you at Fortnite again?l
"Maybe... but I swear I put the skeletons back! I just don't like being beaten!"
"I'll clean it up. Next time, try to control your powers."
Hold on a second, powers? Skeletons? What is going on?
"Hang on, did you just use skeletons and powers in the same sentence?" Nico chuckled, kinda scary, like he was gonna kill me, andwhich I would wanna kill me too. I feel like I'm asking too many questions.
"Me and Jake can make skeletons come out of the ground. You know, sons of Hades and all."
I nodded, "I get it,"
I did not. I had no idea demigods could have powers! Did every demigod have pow- *gasp* what if one of my powers include insane archery skills! That's why I keep hitting the target! This is so cool! I wonder what other powers I have
"Emma, you should go find Chiron. He'll tell you everything. Jake, can you go with Emma. We have to go do something real quick."
Jake shrugs, "Sure, happy to help" and gestures for me to follow him.
"So, Emma, has anything strange happened to you at home?"
"Well, let's see, I literally CANNOT miss a target, I was attacked by a monster at my own house, and now apparently I'm a demigod. No, nothing much."
Jake laughs, except his is way softer than Nico's. It sounds like a thousand angels singing in a choir.
"I get you, and we're here."
"Wha- oh. We're literally here." I laugh nervously. Gods, I'm such a dork. Chiron turns out to be a centaur, and is already waiting for me on the front deck of a big house. Now , this conversation went forever, so cue the fast forwarding sound.
*fast forwarding sound*
The camp, which is not very big, to my introverted relief, is gathered around a campfire. The Apollo cabin, whom I met earlier, are leading a sing-along. The Aphrodite cabin takes this as an opportunity to show off their perfect singing voices. Nobody complains. People are asking me who my godly parent is, but I just shrug. Me and Jake are having a conversation about how Tom Holland is totally the best Spider-Man, when Chiron interrupts with an announcement.
"So many of you are wondering who our newest campers godly parent is, and many are saying Apollo, due to her archery skills, but we will follow normal procedure and place her in the Hermes cabin-"
The campers gasp and look at me in shock, like I just did a triple back layout and landed perfectly. I look up, hoping to see a bird or something, but instead I see a cloudy double-bow. Or better known as the mark of Artemis. Goddess of the night, archery, childbirth, and... virginity. How ironic.
