Your head hung low as you walk slowly back to your home, you didn't want to be there at the moment, you studied hard for this test, yet you only got a 76, how would your parents react? They had high hopes for you.
You mentally prepared yourself for their yelling, you let out a shaky breath, heart racing. You ran to a different direction, you can't face them, not now.
Sitting on a bench, you look at your palms before slumping down and let out a sigh.
You whimpered, you can't exactly stay outside for the whole evening, can you?
"Hm? Y/N-chan?" you look up to find white tracksuits with turquoise details, standing in front of you, is Aoba Johsai's volleyball team.
But what are they doing in Tokyo?
"Oikawa..? Iwa...Makki and Mattsun?" you ask confused, looking at your four friends and glancing curiously at the other members.
"What are you guys doing here?" you tilted your head.
"You didn't know?! We have practice matches with the Tokyo teams!" Oikawa said, slightly offended, for some reason.
Iwaizumi hit the back of his friend's head, causing him to wince while Makki and Mattsun snorted, Oikawa continued anyways.
"How could you not know? You're Fukurōdani's manager!-"
"Y/N is busy lately so she takes a break from being our manager." someone cut Oikawa off, now you turn your head to the side to see Akaashi, with Bokuto waving at you furiously at the side.
"Oh" Oikawa takes a step back to let Akaashi move to you, a slight pout on the dark brown haired man.
"Y/N, are you doing fine? You haven't been with us for a long time." Akaashi ask, concern filled his voice.
"Yea! Are you okay?! I miss you being our manager!" said Bokuto with a loud voice.
"And it's hard dealing with Bokuto-san alone." Akaashi sighed.
You chuckled slightly, seeing them somehow made you feel better.
"Hey hey, what are you guys doing to a girl?" a team wearing red tracksuits came in the picture, Kuroo smirked.
"Kuroo!" Bokuto called out.
"Oh! Y/N-san!" orange hair popped up in your vision as Hinata jumped, since the tall 'trees' blocked him.
"Hinata! Don't run faster than me!" you could already tell who it is.
"You two! Stop being so loud!" it's Daichi.
"Why are all of you suddenly here...?" you sink into your seat, suddenly feeling intimidated by these volleyball players.
"We may or may not have followed you when we saw you since we were worried, you haven't been talking to us after all, so" Kuroo shrugged.
"And we got here first!" Oikawa raised his hand up proud.
"Don't say it like it's a great achievement or something!" Iwaizumi scolded.
"Y/N, what are you doing here alone? It's dangerous at this time." a deep voice was heard.
"Geh." Oikawa deadpanned.
"Ushijima!" you waved, smiling.
"Hello, Y/N Y/N!" Tendou said your name twice, just like what he did with Semi, you laughed before waving at him too.
Chatters were everywhere as they talk among themselves, Oikawa talk about how he would definitely defeat Ushijima one day. Daichi is busy keeping his members in control. And such.
Kuroo quickly slip onto the seat beside you, smirking at Bokuto who whined.
"I wanted to sit there!" the bench is only enough to fit two people.
"We still don't know why are you doing here alone, Y/N." Kenma stare at you, waiting for you to answer.
All eyes turned to you as you gulp, the pressure from before rising again.
"Yea! Y/N-san, it's not safe!" Nishinoya, Tanaka and Lev all said at once.
"If you don't want you don't have to talk about it-"
"I didn't want to go home right now, I just..." you sighed.
Everyone stayed silent.
"It's okay, Y/N-chan!" Oikawa said.
"Yeah! Grand King is right, everything's going to be fine!" Hinata followed after.
"Wow the wind is strong, do you want my headband? Your hair is getting in your face, isn't that irritating?" Asahi said, actually concerned.
"Where did that come from?!" Sugawara laughed before slapping the back of Asahi's head.
"Hm, since you don't want to go home...you can stay at my place" Kuroo smirked, leaning closer to you.
"H-Huh...?" scarlet spread across your cheeks.
"We're not letting her alone with you, Kuroo!" Bokuto pointed at him.
"Agree" Kenma voiced.
"Kenma! Don't act like I'm some kind of pervert!" Kuroo said upset.
"You're not?" Tsukishima said with a smirk.
"We can let her stay with us in our school's gym. We are planning to sleep there for this training camp after all." the only logical suggestion, from Ushijima.
"Plus! You won't be the only girl there so don't worry, Y/N!" the managers from Karasuno and Fukurōdani popped out, grinning and smiling at you.
"We went to buy ingredients for dinner" Yachi smiled, "Let's cook together!"
"So, Shiratorizawa's gym?" Tendou asked, he rest his hands on his knees as he bent down a little to look at you.
