BANG!

The door to Judas' place swung open, almost breaking it off its hinges. Only to reveal an impatient Zack, eyes burning with determination.

"Get up!" he strolled towards the cloaked figure.

"Ah, I knew you would be back. Is there something you need?" the beings' multi-voices echoed as he was met face to face with the younger male.

"I've gone again in the undertow, left to lie with hate."

The declaration caught Judas off guard, never expecting the male to admit anything. Especially when it came to his personal life. But he didn't let it show. Instead, he plastered his famous sinister smirk, and addressed the situation at hand.

"So you finally admit it eh", he chuckled. "It took you long enough to realize your mistake." The being then tilted his head in mock-wonder. "Or, are you simply feeling guilty and regret?" the multitude of his laughing voices unnerved even the 'emotionless' Zack. Never the less the Green Ghost did admit to his charges. He felt no need to hide his true feelings for the deer like beauty.

"Faced again with a taste of it. Still... I'll never change." Zack knew his flaws... all too well. So it was only a matter of time that his inner voices decided to intervene.

'We won't let go, let go!'

'Understand, you're losing faith.'

'Remind yourself there are no saints.'

'Comprehend, you're through with running.'

While his inner demons were arguing, the red cloaked being asked him.

"So what, now you become an optimist? You trust yourself to go after her, facing the knowledge of what awaits you?" his scoff came out in a scratchy, ragged breath.

"Well, I can't stop my long for belief." The being merely rolled his eyes.

"That is what everyone says. But all I hear are more empty promises." The last statement caused the Jade Ghost to flinch at the mention of 'empty promises'. In spite of everything, he wasn't a total stranger to the concept. And the ordeal caused the little voices to go insane.

'Well now I feel so lost and deceived.'

'Just more lies. Like him. On and on and on and on...'

'How will we rest in peace?!'

Zack was sick and tired of all the delays just to get through all the trouble a mere girl had caused. A small part of him wished that he had never met her, all to avoid the deep mess he was currently in. But the large part of his conscience told the other to go fuck it's-self.

"Take me to her," he demanded.

Judas sighed, "I told you, it's too dangerous." He walked towards the still bubbling cauldron, conjuring a vial in his hidden away, bony hand. "I thought you knew that," pouring the potion in the small glass container. "You simply pretended to take her promise seriously." Finally corking the vial, the read cloaked being held it up. "After all," a smirk crept up across his piranha like face once more. "You don't want to re-watch all your sins all over again, do you?"
