Chapter Four.

It's been about an hour since we showed up to Steve's place.
My brother's were asleep in the spare room on the floor, I was going to get them a bed to share in the morning.
Me and Steve sat in the living room waiting for Jake to show up.. basically to chew him out, seeing he is my friend and Steve's boyfriend.
It was literally going on 10'oclock and he wasn't here.

Finally the door opened and in came Jake, with bags of food. Luckily Nadia didn't follow him. He shut the door and stiffened seeing us still awake.
He sighed and set the bags down.
"Get it over with.. yell at me."

"I'm not gonna yell.." I said snuggling into the couch, than I looked out the window and was shocked to see the wolves in the woods watching the area. I sighed and turned back to them.

"I might." Steve said shrugging.

"Why didn't you tell us.."

He sighed.
"Not allowed.. it's the code of the pack, not allowed to tell .. 'humans' of our kind because they will react how you are reacting."

"We been together .. so long.. and you couldn't.. tell me?" Steve said.

I sighed softly laying against the couch some.

"I couldn't.. I would of gotten in trouble.." he said sadly.
"I know your hurt baby.. and I'm sorry.. and I'm sorry you have to find out like this.. both of you."

I stared at him than looked at Steve.

"So who exactly is looking for us?"

He poured some juice and came over with the food, sitting it down on the table, as he sat as well.
"Rogue wolves.. they hunt to kill.. they are different from us who only kill when needed too.."

"Uh Huh.. how many are there of you?" Steve continued to ask questions.

"Loads.. there is a pack house full of us.. we live together to protect one another.." he said.

"But you live with Steve?"

He smiled. "Because he is my mate."

"Mate?" We both said.

He chuckled picking up a French fry smiling.
"Wolves.. have mates, meaning a person who will be with them forever.. love them, give them a heir.. it's like a soulmate."

Steve chocked on his drink.

I blinked, kinda amazed learning things about his kind.
"Huh.. interesting"

Before Steve could speak the door opened as she walked in and sat on the floor.
"You could of knocked." I said.

"You wouldn't of opened." She said looking at me.

I huffed and crossed my arms sitting back against the couch.

"I hope you dont mind Steve.. I'm protecting pouty pants over there." Nadia said.

"Protecting?" I asked with a chuckle.

"I'm Alpha... your my mate darling." She said with a smile.
That damn smile...

I blushed and looked away from her clearing my throat.

"Which makes you my Luna.. my lover.." she continued.

Ughhhhh!

"Well damn." Steve chuckles at that. I elbowed him embarrassed and not really sure how to feel about all these..
My life is hitting me like a car or bus.. or even a train.

"I know this allot to take in, but please do consider moving into my my place.. Your all welcome.. the house is big enough for all of us."
Nadia said eyeing me.

I sighed some looking to my bestie for help.

He was chewing on his lip looking at me too.
"What you wanna do."

"Right now, I want to let my brothers sleep.. is bed a hell of a day." I said honestly.

"Your right. Tomorrow than hmm."

"Maybe because I have to claim them.. she will try to take them from me and-

"We will figure it out. My Uncle is a Lawyer and he owes me a small favor." Nadia said.

"This is more than a small favor.. it's huge."

"Your important to me." She said staring at my eyes.

I stared at her as a small blush creeped up on my cheek's, did she mean this? Was I important.. I mean we were strangers.. strangers who felt something for each other..

"Well it's getting late. We can all bunk here, I'll be in my room, y'all can take the couch." Steve said standing and smirking as he grabs Jake rushing off to their room.

Asshole.

I laid down and curled up on the couch.

She laid down on the other couch staring at me. "I know your afraid of me.. but let me help you."

"Help me..." I sighed some laying on my back as I stare at the ceiling I shut my eyes for a second. I could hear shuffling.
I opened my eyes as they widened.

She hovered over me staring at my eyes.
"Let me help you." She repeated to me.

My heart was beating fast.. my mind was racing as I just nodded to her.
She smiled kissing my head than got off me but I stopped her by pulling her to me again, but next to me to snuggle.
She didn't object or ask questions.

I say nothing as I just hold her, closing my eyes.
"Sleep." I told her.

She nodded and closed her eyes as well.

It felt good to be in someone's arms.. her arms.
