Hiya!!! Before I begin I would like to introduce you to a new cover and title!!!
As well as these two which I finally made profiles for!
Cassidy! Ace's diabetic cousin ♥️
And Annie! She is Careine's... Well you'll just have to wait for the answer to that question. 😉
Also reminder that this chapter is in Careine's perspective ♥️
The first time I saw him, he was trapped in a cage of his own creation. The cage had no key, and he had no desire to escape the prison he built for himself in his mind.
The last time I saw him, the prison was destroyed, and turned into an overgrown garden, and his chains had become wings.
The world stopped breathing that night. I knew that I wasn't going to be staying with him. I knew that one day someone would want to be my forever home. I felt like I had already found it, but I was still only a foster child. They weren't my family yet, and they never became one.
I remember taking all my clothes and slowly putting them in a suitcase. I only got to take one suitcase of belongings each time I found myself in front of another door. It had been easy. For a while foster families never kept me for long, so I didn't have anything new to take with me.
