Above is another picture of Aurora, but in causal clothes. (Again, all this beautiful art isn't mine! :)) Enjoy.

In this room full of people, I've never felt so alone.

The whispers and taunts, echoing around me, spreading like wildfire in the classroom.

Leon was in the front pointing at the new spell in front of the class. It was a fireball spell.

"And you need to find that magic, and grasp it, turning it into a fiery flame. Take that energy and shape it into a ball, and focus it into your hand. And bam!" Leon revealed his open palm, a fireball in his hand. "There's your fireball! You can try it now."

I did what he asked. It was dark, and there was a floating ball of energy. It was blue flashing bright bursts of white.

Red. I thought to myself. I need red.

I imagined the blue turned a hot shade of red, but it was the same color, blue. Ugh, whatever. I'll make due with this. I was too tired, and my brain was shoved with enough information.

I grasped the energy. I opened my eyes, my hand closed like a fist, upside down. I opened it, flipping it. Fire appeared, but it was blue instead of red. I could feel the sweltering heat.

Leon was standing in front of my desk. The students around me glanced at me with mixed looks. They all had their hands outstretched, palms up, but there was no fire.

Oh... great.

Leon looked like he was about to burst. He snatched my hand and dragged me out of the class, my fireball wobbling in my hand.

"Yes, Yes YES!" Leon squealed. "First lesson! You are completely fire resistant!"

Leon took a couple steps back, and started to spread out his arms.

"Throw the fireball at me!" Leon screamed excitedly.

I raised an eyebrow. "Are you crazy? Or what?"

"Just do it!"

My hand rose a couple inches. The fireball went with. Uncertainty rose up in my brain, but I flung the fire right at Leon's shoulder.

He took it, only getting his shoulder knocked back.

"Are you okay?"

Good going Aurora, you killed a man.

I rushed forward, Leon's scruffy brown hair hanging over his covered face.

"Ugh.. that. Was." Leon's face brightened, springing up and grabbing my shoulders, shaking me. "AMAZING!"

"Haha... haha..." I chuckled, shook.

Shooketh.

"Aurora, listen. We're having one-to-one lessons every other day, right after classes!" Leon giggled. "Starting today! You can go back in now!"

He pushed me back into the classroom, everybody's eyes darting to me immediately. I could see Emile narrow her eyes angrily. She took a deep breath and gave me a forced smile.

I flashed her a grin, and walked up to my seat. By now, most students had fireballs floating around. I summoned another blue fireball. I tossed it around, slipping it down my arm and out the other. I was fire resistant, after all. Might as well take advantage of it.

No one really paid much attention to me, in the back of the class, but I could spot Emile's face growing red with anger, staring at the fireball spilling and sliding around my body.
