Just Another Day.....

Another song

     Then on a spring afternoon, i was walking home from school when i saw a mocking bird fly over my head. I smiled and whistled a small tone and as the mocking bird repeated it to me I started to sing thinking no one was around. I never like singing infront of others even though most say i have a nice voice. Not knowing Sam saw me and was walking up behind me when he caught me in the middle of me singing "on that one day, i saw you smile, that one day i started to cry" "that was beautiful Jaz" Sam exclaimed. i quickly spun around very startled. "Oh my god!? You heard me!? Where di you come from!?" "Jaz calm down, you have a beautiful voice, why havent you let anyone hear your voice?" "Because i'm no good, and i'm not even the singer in my band" Skylar and I started a band when we were thirteen and she is the lead singer and I'm lead guitarist. "But your really good, mind singing me something else? " "I guess......" I whistled another small tone and the bird sang again "look for the girl with a broken smile, ask her if she wants to stay awhile, 'cause she will be loved, she will be loved, tap on my window, knock on my door, I want to make you feel beautiful."  "Jaz you're really good." I thanked him and we walked to the woods. He followed me when I climbed a tree and Jackie laid at the bottom. He watched me write a new song and saw how I use the mocking birds for a beat. "Why do you always come to the woods?" he asked me. "It's the one place no one bothers me. It's the one place I can think. This is my way to get away from others. I tend to hide here. "It's your world away from the world." He chuckled. "Yeah, something like that..." I laughed. Sam hung out with me for the rest of the day till night fell and he went home. He told me how it was very creative that I use the mocking birds help to write my song. He enjoyed his time in the woods and understood why I hung out their all the time. As it got later I headed home as Jackie followed behind and when I got into my room she jumped onto my bed and laid at the foot. Her eyes glowed like mine that also reflected her mood and they were glowing yellow so I knew she was hungry. I fed her and got some food for myself and sat at my desk and did my homework. After I finished I noticed a letter on my desk and it was from Ryan. "Mum must have placed it on my desk" I thought as I opened it. I smiled as I read it, and he updated me on how he was doing in the Army and said he'd be home soon. When I finished reading it I put it in the shoe box that was on my desk that I kept all of his letters in so I wouldn't lose them. I stayed up to write him a letter back and then went to bed. The next morning when I woke up I got ready for school and headed out the door and on my way to school I placed the letter in the mailbox and walked to school. It was a warm cloudy day, almost looking like it was going to rain. The due was still on the grass so it sparkled when a glimpse of light hit it. I head my headphones in with the music as loud as possible and it was Friday! The weekend was almost here and I was going out with my boyfriend and we were going Ice Skating tonight. As I got closer to school the more excited I got. Suddenly someone wrapped their arms around me and in a deep voice said "hey babe." I turned around and gave him a kiss. "Hi sweetie." We walked to school together the rest of the way. The day passed by slowly only because I wanted the night to come. Soon enough night fell and we went to the ring. I started figure skating when I was two but quit when I was six. I still love being on the ice and enjoyed it better that my boyfriend was here with me. We skated together holding hands when one of his exgirfriends skated up next to us and started talking to him. "I want you back" she told him "oh really? He asked. I tugged on his arm and he just took his arm away. "ok, we can be together instead" he look at me "Jaz, we are over!" and he skated off with his new girlfriend. As they skated off I got pissed and sped up to them.  Once I got close enough I jumped and sup and as I went for a land I put my foot out and sliced open the back of her leg. While she was laying on the ring crying with her leg gushing blood I skated off. I got off the right, look at him said. "Yo fucker! Have a nice night!" and headed home with a small tear in my eye.

When I got home I rushed into through the door and mum knew something was wrong, she could tell I was upset. I went into my room, grabbed my bow and arrows, called for Jackie and ran for the woods. I was so upset and wanted to hurt someone. I climbed the nearest tree and sharpened my arrows. Spotted a small white rabbit running and told Jackie to kill. She killed it and I let her eat it. I was not in the mood for anything. These woods were my home, it is we're I belong. I'm only a 10th grader and I'm fed up with life. "Stupid Jerk!" I muttered under my breath. I sighed and looked around. Leaves were growing more, the flowers were smelling sweeter, the sun was shining brighter, but something just felt wrong. I looked into the sky trying to clear my head. Night fell once again just like every night and once again I had to go home... I got indoors and went straight to my room, hung up my bow near my bed, finished up my homework and went to bed. The next morning I woke up early enough to write Ryan a letter. On my way to go meet up with sky I put the letter in the mailbox hoping to hear back from him soon. Sky was waitig for me at the end of the road and once again we were going hunting, "Hey bro!' she exclaimed. "Heyyy!" I shouted back at her and ran to give her a hug. "How'd your date go?" she asked excited to hear about it. "depends on how you look at it..." i chuckled. "What did you do?" she asked excited to know, giving me the evil eye. "He saw an old girlfriend and dumpted me for her"  "O...k? what did you do!?!?!?" she skreaked trying to get me to tell her already. She knew it was in my nature to hurt someone who hurts me and she really wanted to know. "I sped up to catch up with them, jumped and spu like an old trick i did when i was figure skating and stuck my foot out and slice open the back of her leg. Left her bleeding on the ice and crying, told him to havea good night with he girlfriend and left." I finally told her with an evil smile. "Dude that had to be funny to see, i would have payed money to be their" she said trying to hold back laughter. "It was really funny to see her bleeding" "That's my sis" she chuckled. We walked into the woods and signaled our pets to hunt and kiil. Jackie and Nif ran off deep onto the woods. We got their at perfect timing. The sun was rising ad the animals were just coming put of their dens. A heerd of deer were running our way and we climbed a tree as quick as we could and got ready to kill. We got up in perfect tim and one by one they dropped like flies but we left a few so we would kill off all the deers. We each killed four and we were happy with our kills. "Bag 'em and tag 'em!" Sky said chucklig. "Dude we are not mrurders, and we are not at a murder seen. This is our food." She glared at me "I know! quit poking holes i my lodgeic!" i stuck my tounge out at her and we took the meat along with the rabits our pets kill for us and went home. After we cleaned te meat and put it up we went back to the woods just to hang out like we always like to do. I took my note book with and me showed her some of the newer songs i was writing and we agree that they were good and walked to Azlyns. Azlyn is also another best friend and she is also our bass player for our band and she always wrote the notes to our songs. She was really good at getting just the right beat to it and always made the songs work for us. Not oly is she a good bass player she's a great friend. On Sunday Sky, Azly and myself all went to the mall just to hang out for awhile with other friends from school. The day passed by quickly and we all had so much fun and sadly enough school was the next day. In the morning Sky waited for me at the end of the street and we walked to school together and as we got closer to school we saw my most recent exboyfriend with his new girlfriend in a wheelchair with her leg all wraped up. As we passed them, me nor sky looked at them but as we got infront of the we just waved and said "Have fun!' at the same time and went on our mary way down the school halls to get to class. As we went to part ways when we went to diifer home rooms she gave me a hug. "Catch you later sis" she said as she started to walk off. "You got it bro!" i shouted as she entered her class. First period went by quick and then thrid period lunch came. I met back up with Sky at lunch and we were talking when the hole cheerleading squad walked up behind us. My ex's girlfriend was the one on the sheerleading team and because i sliced open her leg the hole team was pissed off at me. "Are you the bitch who cut open my best friends leg!" one of them asked me in a bitch tine. " What if i am?" I asked calmly. I took another bit of my lunch. "TURN AROUND AND LOOK AT ME WHEN I'M TALKING TO YOU!" she screamed at me bitching. "If you piss her off i"ll let her kick you ass and get rid of that slut off your face if you don't leave us alone." sky said firmly to her. "YOU THINK YOUR BETTER THAN US!?" she shouted, and at this point the hole lunch room was lookig at us. "What if I do?" i asked in a sweet tone. Suddenly a guy in uniform was being the one that was yelling at me and tapped her shoulder. "You giving my little sister and her friend a problem?" a deep voice asked. She turned around scared and just stared at him. "Y-your in t-t-the A-ar-army?" she asked studdering. "Yes I am and I think you should leave them alone, please" he asked. The squad walked off and i stood up and gave him a hug. It was Brad, Ryan's friend who joined the Army with him. He was home on a visit and wanted to come say him. "Thanks bro" I said with a smile. He treated me like a little sister because I always hung out with Ryan and his friends, and me being the youngest i was always the little sis. "Ryan will be home i two months and he will call you soon." "Awesome, i cant wait to hear ffrom him! How have you've been?" I asked Joyfully. He smile and said "Been good, Army is tough, but glad i joined." "Well yeah, they're gonna make you 'Army Strong', remember?" his smile got bigger and i smiled back. "If you want i'll take you to the gun range after school for alittle fun, how does that sound?" he asked. "That. Would. Be. Awesome!' i exclaimed. He gave a small chuckle. "Ok, i"ll pick you up after school and then we can go, is that ok?" "Totally!" Not a second later the lunch bell rang for us to go back to class. Brad left and the day draged on only cause i wanted to go the the range so badly. The final bell rang and I ran out and Brad was waiting. We made a quick stop at my place so i could pick up my AR and we headed down the the range. When we got their we set up on a range with a target 50 meters out and opened fire. I went Through three mags right off the bat just to get the feel of the gun again and then went at it and got 87 bulleyes in a row. "Whoa! i'm very impressed and scared for the next person who pissed you off" Brad said looking at me im amazement. We were at the range for about three hours and Brad took me home. "Thanks Brad, i had fun" "Yeah, no problem, anytime, catch you later." "k, bye." I put the gun up, did my home work, took a shower to get the smell of gun resadue off of me and went to bed for the night. The next night it was 11p.m. and i was just finishing up my home work. I had my stero on and was just laying on my bed thinking about going to bed when my phone started to ring. My stero acted like a blue tooth and i told it to answer. As it picked up the call I said "Bonjour" knowing if it was one of my friends they would answer back and i would know who it was by the voice. "Hello beautiful" a deep voice responed. Only ONE guy called me beautiful that i would let call me beautiful. It was Ryan. Joy quickly filled my vanes and my smile grew huge along with my heart racing faster. "RYAN!" i shreaked in excitment. He laughed, "Miss me?" he asked chuckling. "More than ever! I wish you were home already! You"ll never guess what happen to me most recently." "Um...? have anything to do with your boyfriend you were telling me about in your letter?" "EXboyfriend" i said in a slight angered tone. "What happened" he asked sighing. "We went on at date at the ice ring and one of his exgirlfriends was their and she told him that she wanted him back. He broke up with me for her so it pissed me off. I sped up to catch them, jumped and spun and as i went to land i sliced open the back of her leg and left her bleed on the ice ring." "Damn Jaz, give you credit for that ine but what have i said about fighting!?" "I wasnt in a fight! I was just having alittle fun!" "ok, ok, ok... Anyways. I'll be home soon for another visit." "YAYYY!" he laughed. "Must miss me a lot"
