Sisters?

Hours passed before i returned home to find Sky sitting on my bed with the letters. "Explain to me how you had a great phone call with him not two days ago yet these letters are completely in the other direction?" She asked just looking at the letters. With a small tear in my eye i looked at her. "I don't know!? At the moment i wasn't thinking about the letters!? I-i have no clue! But it doesn't even matter! I-... I-" she stopped me and put the letter in my hand stating he was sorry an stupid for saying he doesnt want me and how much he loves me. "Read that one. You didn't open that one and thats the one that explains why." She waited to continue on her explanation of why he did what he did. I started to read it and started crying. After i got done reading it, i threw it to the ground. "THERE LIES! ALL LIES!" My heart was racing and my eyes went red! "ALL LIES!" Red flames bursted out of my palms. "JAZ! CALM THE BLOODY FUCK DOWN AND LISTEN!" I was startled by her reaction and fell to the ground crying. "Jaz, listen to me, the letters of him telling you he doesn't love you, they are the lies. I read them all. He was trying to push you away so he wouldn't disappoint you. He didn't want your hopes up that he'd be home on visits often and that you'd get to see him a lot. Things are getting hard for him and he doesn't want to let you down. He never has and he won't allow himself to let you down. Calm down for me please." I looked up at her and wiped my tears. "He doesn't want you to worry about him, he's scared he'll push you away just by not being here. He never wants to see that happen so he's not going to let it happen. His way of not letting it happen is to get you out of the way so it wont." I nodded at her. "Just let when he broke up with me, he was afraid that i would fall in love with another guy while he was gone and when he was to come home, he'd find me with another guy and leave him heart broken." "He let you go so it wouldn't happen. That's whats going on right now. He's having a hard time so he's pushing you away so he wont hurt you, even though he did by saying he doesn't want you anymore. But he learned one thing from when he did this last time." "What?" I was confused at the moment. "He hurt you horridly last time he did that. You were hurt enough you made yourself sick from crying and you were cutting. On top of it, when you saw him, you got scared and were shaking. He can't see that again because that killed him inside knowing he hurt his love." I looked at her, smiled and hugged her really tightly. "I love you sis." "I love you too." I picked the letter up off the floor and put them all up in the shoe box and put the shoe box back under my desk. Sky had the last letter tucked away in her back pocket. 

"Now to get back on the other subject," she took out a box from under my bed full of our families histories, "lets go back over the family lines." We look back over our family trees and something seemed odd to me. "Sky...?" "Yeah...?" She asked. "When our families blood crossed between the two, one member from each family got powers, right?" "Right." She told me. "So your dad and my uncle are brothers, making us cousins." I told her. "Yep!" She said joyfully getting to admit we are related. "Wrong!" I spoke up. "What do you mean? Your uncle is my uncle and my dad is your uncle, so we are cousin." She said. "Technically we would be, but we both have powers, making our blood being the same." She looked at me with shock in her eye. "So! That means! We are sisters!!!!" She shouted with joy. "Yes, sister" i said with a smile
