He would never forget the moment he set eyes on her. He likened it to seeing his first sunrise. A warm sensation flooded his veins, filling him with emotions he did not yet know he possessed. Her soft smile and radiant beauty drew him in. He watched her from the edge of the garden as she tended Vana's flowers near the trees of Laurelin.

It was the first time he felt anything besides the will to dominate others with his strength. A deep burning lust boarding on obsession began as he watched her scantily clad form. She was adorned in the traditional silken toga of the Maiar.  Many of his fellow Aniur took spouses. He could not understand why until his body violently stirred to life at the sight of her.

When she sensed him, she was shocked and hid. Urwendi was a spirit of flame who never knew darkness. He was cloaked in the unlight of the night terror, Ungoliant. A great beast of the void that wore the guise of a giant spider. He came to destroy their trees of light and drain their power. Seeing her, his plans were stillborn.

"Be not afraid. I mean thee no harm," Melkor uttered to her. He shifted into the form he thought she would find appealing. He did not seek to incite terror but a more tender emotion.

"My Lord," she said in a voice as soft as wind through the trees. She gave a graceful curtsey, "I bid thee welcome to Valinor, the Undying Lands. I am, Arien, servant of Vana the Ever Young"

"I am Melkor, an Aniur like your mistress." He said smiling as he moves near her. Her innocence driving him to the brink of what little propriety he had left. He wanted her to come willingly. If she did not he would take her as he did everything else.

"How may I serve thee, my lord?" She asked sweetly.

"I would have you tell me, are you satisfied with your occupation at Vana's feet, being treated thus. I bid you follow me, where you will be a queen and will bring the arrogant fools to heel." By then he was closer than would be deemed appropriate for a first meeting.

She was entranced by his eyes the movement of his mouth. No one else would dare spout such blasphemous ideas. His flippant attitude toward the authority of the Aniur was dangerous. He was spouting the kind of ideas that caused banishment.

"I see the fear behind your eyes. I feel your indecision. Fear not maiden, this is right. My cause is just. You are being wasted here. Such raw power, the untapped potential is hidden behind those bright eyes. I can give all you desire to you and more. All you need do is say yes." He caressed her cheek she sighed into his palm. Just a bit more and he knew he'd have her.

Her eyes shut, she focused her mind and his hold over her collapsed, "As flattering as your offer is milord, I must refuse. I beg your pardon; I am expected elsewhere."

She turned to walk away. Melkor's anger exploded into violence. No one refused him. He grabbed her by the nape of her neck and forced her to the ground. Screaming, she kicked and pushed at him, but to no avail. His powers were at their peak, and she was only a Maiar, a servant, albeit a powerful one. He tore at her clothing exposing her body. His hands grasped and her breast truly feeling himself becoming fully erect for the first time.  He couldn't wait he would fuck her raw here and now.

He tried forcing his way between her legs when he was suddenly propelled forward by a kick to his back. He did not set eyes on his assailant until he had rolled away some distance.

He stood angrily, a cloud of black forming around him as he transformed into a nightmarish figure clad in armor.

His opponent was a lean, tall, masculine Maiar holding a silver bow. He shone as bright as the morning star. He heard others calling out his name as they rushed over;  they called him, Tilion. He had come to find his mate, Arien.

Recognizing he would quickly be outnumbered by the Valar and Maiar, Melkor opted for a quick escape

Recognizing he would quickly be outnumbered by the Valar and Maiar, Melkor opted for a quick escape. That day he used the distraction to destroy the trees of light plunging the world into darkness. Had he known that Arien and her mate, Tilion would take what remained of the trees to place the sun and the moon, setting them on their paths in the sky, he would have killed them too.

Morgoth woke with a smile. Having a long memory came with its benefits. He leaned against his elbow, as he rested his chin on his palm. 'Urwendi found Tilion again, despite being separated by time and space.'

She nearly lost her mind when he raped her after finding her resting near the Door of Night. At the ending of each day, she was tasked to place the vessel of the sun beyond its gates. He nearly had the silmaril she guarded as well but she took it and escaped beyond the door into the void. He never thought Tilion would follow her through.

If he had but realized that Tilion was masquerading as a young elf prince. He had big plans for the pair of them. He would take Urwendi again and again before Tilion's eyes before he made her watch as he killed her mate. Then he wound rend Tilion limb from limb. Thank all that is unholy he would never discover his power.
