Chapter Seven

Your POV~

"Eddie I'm really worried" I spoke to Eddie in a whisper as we went back to our room. 

"Me too. What are we supposed to do, the same thing that just happened to Stan could happen to any of us" 

"I know but what are we supposed to do? We aren't safe here, but where else are we supposed to go? unless we find that supposedly safe haven but we don't have any clue of where it is"

"I think we should try and find it, we can't live the rest of our lives here" Eddie said looking at me to see my reaction.

"Let's discuss it with the others in the morning, but we probably should try and find it"

~Early the next morning~

I jolted up in the bed after hearing a loud bang. It sounded like it came from the front door. 

I got out from bed, in which Eddie was still asleep, and walked to the bedroom door. I pressed my head against it to see if I could hear anything else. It kind of sounds like multiple footsteps. I need to get Eddie up. 

I walked back to the bed and nudged Eddie awake, scaring him a bit. 

"Eddie, I think someone, or something, is walking around in the house" I said as he rubbed his sleepy eyes. 

"Is it one of the losers?" he asked looking at the door and back at me.

"I'm not sure but I don't wanna wander through the house without telling someone. Especially if it's not one of them"

"Good thinking. Let's go look" with that he got out of bed and slowly walked to the door. He reached his hand out for me to take it and I of course did. He slowly opened the door without a squeak, thankfully. 

We stepped out slowly and saw three people. The same ones that saved us. 

One guy turned towards us and stopped pulling his gun up to him. Eddie and I threw our free hands up in the air like we were surrendering. He let out a sigh and lowered his gun. 

"Finally we found you" he said, confusing Eddie and I. 

"I don't understand, were you looking for us? I've never seen you before in my life" Eddie asked. 

"You kids were in a helicopter crash weren't you?"

We both nodded.

"Well we got message of it and they were supposed to return soon and never did so we sent out a team to see what happened, and found out the helicopter crashed. Then we decided to look for survivors and looks like we found two" he said with a smile at the end.

"Eddie, Y/N, who's that?" I looked at the stairs and saw Richie. 

"We're here to save you kid" another guy said coming out of the living room. 

"We're gonna get you to safety"

~Time skip~

The soldier guys took us all out to a large van where there was two more people waiting, a man and a woman. They drove all of us to this "safe haven" which took two days to get there. They gave us off to this lady that was very sweet and she helped us in seeing if our families were there. Mine were. Eddie's weren't. I told her Eddie could come with me to see my family and she allowed it. Us losers promised we'd meet back up after three hours after meeting with family. And those who no longer had any went with someone else. 

I was finally safe with my family and friends. And Eddie. I'm so glad we met.
