Sammy POV

Sammy made his way back to where his Lord was waiting. His mind was spinning. He'd never guessed that Henry could remember the past as well! Though, come to think of it, it did explain a lot about the man. Like how he'd seemed so unafraid, almost bored, while Sammy spoke to him, preparing for the sacrifice. It was actually kinda funny.

Henry was also the only being, besides Sammy himself, who was actually colored. Sammy hadn't really noticed until now, because Henry had almost always been largely covered in ink, similar to Sammy himself. But Sammy had never seen him without the ink. Seeing him, hanging in the chains, made Sammy realize he was human.

Completely human. Before, Sammy had assumed Henry was a creature similar to him. But nope. Henry was about average height, shorter than Sammy by a few inches. His hair, which Sammy had assumed was jet black, was actually a brown, with light gold streaks.

His eyes were a light blue-green, almost cyan. They were actually quite shocking. He had a small scar above his eye, which Sammy had never noticed before either. His thumb and pointer finger had ink stains in between them, giving away that he was an artist. Maybe an animator? But Sammy had never seen Henry before the loop, so it wasn't possible he worked for Joey, right?

Sammy made his way towards his Lord, bowing his head in respect. Bendy growled. "Well?" He asked, his voice deep. "His name is Henry Stein, my Lord." He spoke respectfully to his Lord. Bendy sat up, his posture eager. "Did he give anything away?" Lord asked. "Why is he here?"

Sammy paused. "Henry is human, my Lord. And he remembers every loop. He didn't say why he was here, but I can deduce that he is an artist, because of the ink stains around his fingers." Lord paused, looking intrigued. "An animator?" He mused. "I guess that makes sense.."

Bendy POV

Bendy waved his hand to send Sammy away. After the Prophet was gone, Bendy sat back on his throne. An animator, Hmm? Henry must have been one of Joey's animators, who would spend hours working, drawing Bendy himself. But Bendy thought he knew all the animators who had worked under Joey. Apparently not.

Bendy thrummed his fingers against his throne, feeling irked. Henry was also still human, which was a complication Bendy hadn't seen coming. He could have drowned Henry, and he hadn't even realized it! Bendy shook his head. Why did Joey send Henry here in the first place?

Bendy growled, then barked at one of the Searchers. "Bring me Henry!" The Searchers disappeared, reappearing with an unconscious man hanging between them, wrapped in chains. Bendy stood, growling at them. "What happened?" He demanded. One of them bowed their head.

"Apologies. He tried to fight us, we had to knock him out." Bendy sat back down, growling. "Leave us." The Searchers disappeared into the floor, leaving Henry's unconscious body alone with Bendy.

Bendy stalked up towards Henry, peering at his blurry form. Bendy moved closer, until he was inches from Henry and could see him clearly. The chains dug into his skin, black on yellow. Bendy moved his face close to Henry's, smelling him. He smelled good, like fresh ink and musty paper.

He nuzzled Henry's face gently, making the human squirm. His eyes blinked open, confusion showing in them. His eyes were a light, light gray. Bendy found them cool looking. He'd never seen that shade of gray in a humans eyes before. Then he caught sight of Bendy, so close to him, and terror sparked in them.

He squirmed, trying to get out of the chains, but they were too tight. Bendy turned his head sideways. Bendy picked him up and cradled him in Bendy's arms. Henry let out a startled cry, whimpering. "Shh." Bendy purred, but Henry cried out, clearly unable to understand him. Bendy stroked Henry until he stopped struggling, and just laid there, limp.

Bendy cradled Henry, holding the paralyzed, chained man close to his chest. He couldn't understand why Joey would send him here, knowing how Hellish the studio had become. Maybe Joey didn't, but that was the only thing that made sense. Bendy stroked Henry's hair, lost in thought.

Henry was the nicest person Bendy had ever seen! He'd been so mad before, he hadn't even noticed til now, when he looked back on it. Henry was more determined than most as well. He was the only one to have ever made it all the way to Bendy's lair. And now... Why didn't he run when Bendy reached out to grab him?

Bendy could remember each loop, since he was the one who kept it going. Only a few remembered each loop, and until now he'd thought The Prophet and himself were the only ones. But now he learned that Henry had the same ability? Bendy found that fascinating.

Unfortunately, that also means that Henry remembers everything Bendy has done to him. Bendy felt guilt as he gazed at Henry's terrified expression. No wonder he was so scared. Bendy gently set the animator down in his throne, then dissolved the chains, replacing them with ink. He thought that might make Henry more comfortable.

The man curled up in a ball, hiding his face. Bendy sat beside him, gently putting his arms around him. Bendy felt the man stiffen. Bendy gently rubbed his back, trying to comfort him.

There must have been some kind of mistake. Henry wasn't a bad person. That much was obvious. In fact, he was the first human Bendy had ever seen that seemed nice. Decent. He didn't deserve to be here. Bendy growled softly. Henry stiffened.
