Today, SM put out a statement, confirming the two's relationship, even though we all new it was true.
Sunmi took to her instagram to post this cute photo of the two, and she also has Shownu's name in her bio now.

Her caption also cleared a few things up, and I must say, I'm really happy for her!
In the caption, Sunmi clarified the allegations of her being a lesbian. It turns out, Sunmi's pansexual, and has been closest from the industry since before her debut.
'Hello lovelies, It's Sunmi. Yes, Shownu and I are in a relationship, but we ask that you respect our privacy and remember that we are human as well. As many of you know, recently, allegations were tossed my way of being a lesbian. That is incorrect, however, I'm not 100% straight. I've identified as pansexual since I was sixteen, and I'm happy and proud to be one. The girls in the photos happen to be people I used to be in relationships with, however I will not reveal their names, and I ask that you respect their privacy and leave them alone. This world needs more love, not hate. Have a wonderful day all, and respect those around you' Reads her caption.
Fans have also now picked up on the fact that Sunmi's also apparently been dropping hints for years, including through her signature makeup look!
And let's not ignore the fact that she performed at the 2019 LA Pride Parade, and all those pride flags she had on her 'Warning' Tour.
