8:34 am

I'm just waking up and yesterday was a blur. As I'm getting up I feel an arm tighten around my waist. I look over to see it's Kev.

"Where you going?" A sleepy Kev asked me.

"To use the bathroom, move." I pushed him off of me. When I go into the bathroom, I see his clothes from yesterday on the floor. I know he didn't just come in here like we in a relationship.

I'm too tired to be annoyed with him right now. I just need peace and relaxation. It's like I'm in the twilight zone. After I shower and do my daily hygiene, I go into my closet and find a cute Nike outfit to wear around. I put my natural hair into a messy bun and laid my edges. I hear someone in the kitchen so I walked to the front.

"Here sis. I made y'all something to eat." Angel had two plates set out on the table.

"Girl why is his ass even here?" I mumbled trying to find medicine for my migraine.

"Because I care and I miss you." I turned around to see that Kevin was behind me. He was dressed in gym shorts a white tee, and a gold chain with a photo of his grandmother.

"I'm about to go get mama car from Magic since fat ass forgot to have it towed." She pointed at Kevin.

"Nah it should be out there." Kevin spoke up while checking his phone.

I walked past him as if I didn't hear anything he said and opened the door. When I came back I saw him gazing at me with regret and worrisome.

"It's out there sis. Here's the keys, where we going?" I asked her while turning my back to Kevin.

"WE are not going anywhere. You're staying here to figure y'all shit out. Mom is staying with her bae for most of the day so don't worry about that. Give me a hug bitch, you need one." She wrapped her arms around me while I gave her an angry face with my bottom lip poked out.

"Bye brother. I'm going to check on Ivy. He been blowing me up." Angel said while grabbing her shades and phone.

I sat at the table barely touching the food she cooked. My head was hurting so bad, I just dropped my face in my palms. I forgot Kevin was even here. All of sudden, I feel his warm, comforting hands on my shoulders. I broke down. I don't know why. There's so much going through my head.

After a few moments of crying, Kevin moved the chair out, picked me up bridal style and took me to the room. He then laid down on his back and placed me on top of him like an infant. He rocked me while I was still crying, kissing my forehead and reminding me of the promise he made to keep me safe. He also apologized a few times. I eventually fell asleep again.
