Chapter 3

Lisa's p.o.v

We arrived at the resort after what felt like a one-day trip in the car, with Rosé and Jisoo trying to take over the radio. It's a miracle we didn't crash since Jisoo was more focused on the radio than the road. Now we're at the counter waiting for our turn to check in.

"There's only two rooms with a big bed. Would you like to take the rooms?" asked the guy. Jisoo and Rosé looked at me and Jennie, so I also looked at Jennie to ask if she was okay with it.

"It's okay, I'll share the room with Lisa." said Jennie while looking at me. "Then we're set! We'll take it." Jisoo then gave Jennie our room's key, and the four of us went to our room. The couple's room was at the right wing of the resort, the opposite side from our room.

As soon as I walked in, the beautiful view of nature welcomed me. "Damn, this room is big! The view is also worth the budget!" I said as I was mesmerized with the view.

"Indeed, the view is very beautiful." Jennie speaks up from beside me, but I knew she was looking at me.

"Stop staring, or I might make you look the bigger view, babe." I smirked. We're are really close up to the point that we flirt all the time. Some might be corny enough to make us cringe.

People who don't know us might think we're dating.

She raises an eyebrow with a mischievous smile on her face, "I'm enjoying the slight view I'm seeing right now. What more if I get to see the bigger view, right?" I huffed before both of us burst out laughing.

   "I'm going to walk around the resort. Do you want to join me?" I looked at her, but she just pointed at the bed. "I think I'll pass today, I'm tired." As she said that, I nodded before taking my sunglasses and wore it.

I was walking near the sea shore under the hot sun while enjoying the cool wind.

Suddenly, someone bumped into me, a girl. "Oh, I'm sorry, I got distracted. Are you okay?" I asked. She looked at me and smiled, "I'm okay, I was walking without looking in front, so I'm the one to blame."

I helped her get up, and she mouthed thank you. After cleaning the sands from her white polo, she held out her hand for a handshake, and I gladly took it. "Oh no! your jacket-" she face palmed herself.

I was confused, so I looked at my jacket, and it was drenched with the coconut shake she was holding earlier. "Oh, it's fine. One wash, and it'll go away." It really was nothing, but she still seems to be unsure. She sighed, "Can I invite you for dinner tonight? I feel totally bad, and I won't take a no, miss..." She paused to wait my answer.

 "Lisa. Just call me Lisa. It would be good to have someone buy me dinner." I joked. She chuckles softly before nodding. "Sounds good, I'll just wait for you near the bar at the swimming pool, miss..?" She smiles before replying, "Tzuyu. It's a pleasure to meet you." I smiled in return.

"8 p.m?"

"Just right." I nod.

"I should get going. See you later?" and by that, we bid our goodbye, and I went back to the room. As I entered, I saw Jennie sleeping peacefully, she surely was tired and I didn’t want to wake her up. I took off my drenched jacket and threw it aside.

I then sat on the bed beside her and laid my back on the headboard, turning on the tv although I know there isn't much to watch. Slowly but surely, I felt someone hugging me tightly. Jennie absolutely loves to cuddle, and I'm probably the best cuddle item worthwhile. Instead of removing her arms, I wrap mine around her, too.

Jennie's p.o.v

I smiled as I felt her arm around me. I always feel safe when she's around, and that's why I'm scared of being alone without her. I snuggled closer to her neck, and damn her scent was addicting.

"Jennie, I'll be going out tonight." She said. I was confused, so I looked up to see her face, which actually was an inch close. I can feel her hot breath on my lips.

'I'm going to kiss you if you keep making me feel this way.' I thought. She then smiled and said, "Don't worry, the girl I met is kind. She bumped into me, and she wanted to buy me dinner to make up for my shirt. Nothing much." She continued.

A girl.

A girl invited her for dinner.

I don't like it.

 

"Okay, but please be careful and don't come back late. And, don't drink or you'll sleep outside." I warned her.

I can't tell her she can't go out with the girl because who am I? Yeah, who am I. I'm just a friend. "Alright, alright. Now let's cuddle, I missed you." I slapped her tummy gently but snuggled closer to her. Damn I wish those words came from her as a girlfriend's cheesy lines.
