BORUTO can't help laughing the next day after Sarada told him about what she saw in Chocho's place.

"Stop laughing!!," she was totally pissed off while preparing a burger she made for her husband.

"Damn! Mitsuki is such a p*ssy," he stated before he sat to dine and eat his burger.

Sarada smirks at him, "Says who?"

She sat next to Boruto who's busily eating his food, not minding what she said earlier. She prepared a plate full of vegetables for her diet.

"Why are you eating grass?"

Sarada's eyebrows narrowed because of what Boruto asked, "What grass? These are leaves, vegetables! And it called Salad, Boruto, S-a-l-a-d."

Boruto nodded, "Yeah, yeah. Why does your salad-thing doesn't have tomatoes?"

"Tomato is a fruit," Sarada stated.

"And so tomato doesn't belong to salad recipes anymore?"

Sarada glares at Boruto's questioning look. She knows that tomatoes are used to be in salad but she doesn't like it.

She sighed, why am I talking with this guy? I forgot how irritating he becomes when his sarcasm boost over mine. Sarada just continued eating without answering her husband's question.

"Hey—"

"Don't talk to me. You're giving me headache."

Form her peripheral vision, she saw how Boruto pouts because of what she said and it somehow enlighten her. Him and his cuteness!

"CHIEF!" Everyone salutes as Sarada came into their underground headquarters. She walks while looking around, checking as if the weapons and other dangerous appliances are fine to be used by her agents.

"Chief, the owner of UBC delivered new technologies. Should I set schedule for you to meet the CEO and check if they are delectable to you taste?," an agent asked beside her.

Sarada smiled, "No need. The CEO is my husband, I can check it on my own."

"Noted, Chief," the agent bowed before leaving her alone.

Every agents usually come to ask her since she doesn't want to have a secretary. She is fine on her own.

"Chief," another agent came, "We are not lacking of doctors but I'm sure you want to heal him on your own."

Sarada raised her eyebrow, "Him?"

The agent noded, "Your father is in critical condi—"

Before the agent finish what he was about to say, Sarada immediately rushed to a way where it is connected to a small hospital of them.

"Where is he?," she asked the counter.

"Emergency Room, Chi—"

"Thanks."

She barged in the ER, she cleaned her hands and quickly wore her coat plus mask and gloves.

"What happened?"

"Mr. Uchiha was shot three times. Arm, appendix, and leg."

The what?! My father is a skilled person. He can dodge a bullet easily! How come he was shot three times?!

Sarada narrowed her eyebrows and focused on removing the bullets out from her father's body.

BORUTO was signing load of papers when his secretary came in.

"Yo!," Shikadai raised his hand with a can of beer and placed it on Boruto's desk.

"What?," he exhaustively asked, "Beer? Could you give me an energy drink or coffee at this moment?"

"Nah, I already bought that," Shikadai sat on the chair in front of his desk.

Boruto groaned, "Where is she?"

"HQ, Emergency Room."

He paused, "Why?"

"Mr. Sasuke is in critical condition," Shikadai sighs, "He was drugged— there was a smoke bomb outside their house. He tried to protect his wife and your father was quick enough to save her."

"And Mr. Sasuke?"

"He was later found by Mr. Hatake— shot three times."

"Konohakagure is far from here."

"Mr. Sasuke doesn't want to be operated by other doctors. I guess weeds doesn't really die easily. Major blood loss is nothing to him."

Boruto forcefully closed his eyes, absorbing what happened, "How's my wife?"

"Performing a surgery to her father."

"I need to finish this," Boruto said seriously doing his job in a fast movement.

Shikadai stood up, "You should. She needs you," and then he left Boruto's office.

BORUTO went to HQ after he finish on his papers to see Sarada and her dad's condition. There he saw Sarada calm and fine— she was talking to some nurses as if everything is fine.

But not until the nurses left, Sarada suddenly burst into tears while staring at her unconscious father. Luckily, Boruto was there to comfort her.

Sarada can't stop crying in Boruto's arms. She's begging him to let her go to Konohakagure to check on her mother.

"Shh, your mother is fine in Dad and Mom's hand," he said while brushing Sarada's hair.

"I wanna go check her," she sobs, "Let me, please."

"No," Boruto stares directly at her, "Your father needs you here."

Sarada sniffs and wipes her tears off, "Should I call them, then?"

Boruto didn't said a word as he watch his wife find her phone inside her purse to contact someone.

"Hello?," he was just staring at her, talking as if she was fine, "Hinata-san."

She must've mastered the act of pretending, huh?

"Yes. This is Sarada. How's my mother?"

Sarada started pinching her lower lip in worry so Boruto grabs it to calm her. She looked at him in assurance and gave him a thank-you smile.

"Yes.. I see." Sarada's face lighten up, "Thank you so much Hinata-san. Please take care... Yes, update us if something bad happens. We'll visit there when my father's condition is fine. Thank you."

Sarada sighed to calm herself as she put down her phone, then he looked at Boruto who's proudly watching her.

"Let's go home?," Boruto asked.

Sarada glance at her father before answering him, "I want to take care of him."

"I want to take care of you too," Boruto grabs her wrist to pull her closer to him, "And I want you to rest with me."

"But father—"

"I'll ask Mitsuki and Shikadai to frequently check on him. And Mr. Kakashi and Mr. Shikamaru will also come here to visit your father," he whispers at her ears, "Your Papa sure do have a lot of frenemies in hand."

Sarada giggles as she knows that Boruto is trying to cheer her up, "Let's go home?"
