One year.haylie has been gone for that long the order had looked everywhere but never found her and James and lily had come back from the day about a week later after she left they asked for their baby oh how hard it was to tell them they don't plan on having anymore kids they were good with one

Sirius had sent letters but always got them back unopened until one day

Hello Haylie I know you'll probably never get this but Voldemort is getting stronger and we need you your parents had come back and I'm not joking I am very serious about this Haylie me and everyone will be by your side I promise just come home

He sealed the letter handing it to hedwing who had been living with them and sent her off

Couple days later

Everyone was eating Christmas dinner but it didn't feel like Christmas Haylie wasn't there so it didn't feel like Christmas "James pass the salt"lily said "of course flower"he hands her the salt then suddenly hedwing flew in holding a letter

"Sirius it's another one of your letters!"Molly said he sighed and grabbed it but his eyes widened "what is it Padfoot?"James asked "she answered.."he breathed everyone's eyes widened too "she what?!"everyone exclaimed "she responded after a year!"Sirius yelled "well open it you stupid dog!"lily said

He opened it and began reading it

Hello I know I haven't been responding after a year but I am coming home for a while just to defeat Voldemort then I after I must go back I cannot stay in England I'm bringing two of my friends with me and are you serious about my parents!? I would love to see them tell them I love you all
