"what do we do about the haters, hyunjin?" i asked him, as we both sat comfortably on the couch, next to each other.

as usual, we were watching the lion king because i requested it, and he just can't reject my request. however, i was really happy when he came here with crepes and even offered to give me carrots, my favourites. i just can't imagine my life without stray kids. and with hyunjin now being with me, i think that i've got all i wanted in life.

"the haters, you say? let them be. it's our relationship, you and i. they're not included in it. besides, it's you and me against everything, right?" he said, giving me a soft smile in which i returned. 

he held my hand, and at that moment, i wished that he would never let it go. ever.

"i love you, yejin. so much," he whispered, kissing my knuckles. smiling softly, i stared into his eyes.

"i love you, too, hyunjin. always."

for once, i agreed with the world. i thought that we were picture perfect.
