Chapter-eight

So ngayon i have to go mamaya sa meeting place namin.
I face the wall screen clock na 4:30 palang. I do my daily routines and went to mom's office.

I knocked before i go. But before knocking, i heard some sobbing.
Don't tell me until now she's crying?

I knocked. She open it after knocking three times. She's.......... crying.
I hug here as tight as i could.

“ Shane..... Kriselda.....w-was....gone”
Err.
“ Mom who is she?”
“ Your child hood friend. I think parang may masamang nangyayari sa paligid natin” she is crying when she said that.
What the. Petengene.
I looked around to scan the room.
I even go to the main office of this room. I saw some pictures.
Last time when i came here was grade 6.

“ Mom would you mind,sino tong mga to?” pinakita ko yung nakita kong pictures.
“ Shang1”
“ Shang1?”
“ Only shang but if you're in the top 1 you can take 1 as your group name”
Hmm. Ok
“ So mom kayo to?” i asked
“ No. We are the shang2. Dati shang1 pero they stole my palace”
Yan ang gusto ko kay mom. Dahil nasasabi niya ang mga totoo if magtanong kalang. Pero pagkatapos ng 10 minutes. Go back to the normal.
“ Tatlo lang sila mom?. Ah mom what...what is this?.... business?”
“ Yeah they are only three. A gangster”
“ So you're a gangster?”
“ Yes”
“ Why?”
“ To protect our family. To protect you from enemies”
“ Ahh. Kasama si dad sa grupo niyo?”
“ Yes. Dont ever na maki gangster too ha?”
“ Of course mom. Never”
“ Shane may napatay ako”
“ Who?”
“ Kang family. Dahil sa kagustuhan kong maging first. I killed them. Even the two girls. In the first place si david ang pinapatay ko para maging 1. Nawala ka sakin that time na napatay ko na siya. Akala ko sila ang kumuha sayo.And then nagtago yung wife niya but i seen her again so i killed her Infront of her two babies. But as i know alam na nila ang nangyayari kaya nagawa ko ring patayin sila. I was so stupid that time. At yun nga ang akala ko sila ang kumuha sayo dahil saka kalang bumalik nung nawala na sila pero i realize na pano ka napunta dito eh patay na sila kaya i found out na hindi sila ang kumuha sayo. Im so desperate na maging 1 kaya i did that. Until now sumasagi sa isip ko yung nangyari. If only i know if anong nangyayari that time, baka pinabayaan ko na yung magkapatid. And year's past by. Ako yung naghari until 15 years but now Shang stole it just in a snap. They use our name.”
“ Sino members niyo ma?”
“ Hanhan,Your father, me, Daisy, Pesty”
“ I thought mababait Sila”
“ Shane Baby don't judge a book by its cover.”
“ ok ok. So mom magpapaalam lang ako. I will go na para mas madaling matapos”
“ Bye nalang. Remember to call me time by time ok?”
“ Haha ha ok ok” nagbeso beso na kami then i went out to the room.

I cutted the conversation because i feel someone is in the door.
I brought the pictures and take it to sling bag.

“ Shane did you eat breakfast na?” manang mey asked me.
Manang mey didn't work at the kitchen. So manang tesa is the one who's listening.
“ Shane you want us to cook?” i heard manang tesa's voice and i saw him after manang mey.
So if she's not the one.....aha i knew it.

I didn't mind them and continue walking.

When i was walking. I heard some footsteps after me.

When i enter the gate... Nakikita ko siya with my peripheral vision.
“ Dina.....im here na” i shouted.
“ Wait shane. Just a minute. Magbibihis lang ako. Did you call on jesa to see information about our project?” she shouted back.
When the time na sumigaw siya. Nakita kong umalis siya sa halaman na malaki kung saan dun siya nagtatago.
I entered the house without knocking.
She is watching tv. But when she see me,she started to walk. Me too. So we walk out to this house and go to the main meeting place.

Private house ang main meeting namin. At sa house na pinuntahan ko, house yun ng friend ni quell. Pero open na open kami dun. And jesa? Wala akong kilalang jesa'ng classmate ko. And dina? Ang ginagamit namin every time na may napapansin kaming umaaligid samin para magkunwaring classmate namin siya, wala din akong kilalang dina.

“ Quell” sabi ko nung napansin kong hindi siya mapakali.
“ Quell” medyo pasigaw ko
“ Quell” sigaw ko na dahil hindi siya tumitingin.

“Ate,kaptid niyo ba ako?” tanong niya pero hindi parin siya tumitingin.
Anyare di ens?
“What?”
“ Ate,nakita ko yung picture ko. Lahat”
“ Dont tell me -----”
“ Oo ate. Pumunta ako sa room mo”
Pag puputol niya.

“ Quell. Stop that thingy drama”
Ate phida said.
“ Ate hindi mo naiintindihan” sabi ni quell kay phida.

“ That's not the way you talk to me”
Sabi ni phida.
“ Tss. Stop that” sabi ni cis.
Nagka tinginan silang lima. Francis, quell,prince,larry at phida

Nag sitahimik sila.

“ San sila?” tanong ko
“ Nakay shane” sagot ni prince.
I hug him.

“ How are you? ” i asked him
“ Nothing new. Im still handsome ”
Tss

Nag discuss lang sila ng disscuss.

“ Princess Wednesday ” makahulugang saad ni phida
“ Ok”
They continue the discussion

“ Ate you're so fat na” sabi ni prince nang matapos magsalita si quell.
“ Fat?” i asked
“ Yes. Tss”
“ Rude” singhal ni quell.

“ Ano ba problem mo ate?” tanong ni prince kay queen
“ Nothing” sagot naman ni quell.
