The dragon master (under editing)

Trader Johann

Astrid POV:
I start to panic. I mean, we had just saved him. Then I heard something from outside and I went to look out the window. What I saw angered me so much. Whizzing around, one with the dragon. was none other then Hiccup Horrendous Haddock the third.

 "HICCUP!!!!" I screamed. He seemed to pause to look at me then he directed Toothless to land in front of the hut. I went down with my fists clenched ready to shout at him. I opened the door and started yelling. 

"Do you have any idea how freaked out I was? I could kill you right now!" I was about to continue when I heard the horn signaling that Johann was here. He smiled gratefully and runs off. 

"This is not over!" I shout at his retreating back. I then sigh and down to the dock after stopping by my house for some things I can trade.

Hiccup POV:
I smile gratefully at Johann when I get to the docks. He expresses clear surprise when he sees me. 

"Master Hiccup, what are you doing here?"

 "Johann I told you to just call me Hiccup. There is no need for formality between us." I say to him. Out of the corner of my eye I see a few people giving Johann and I the eye but I just ignore them. 

"Have you got anything for me?" I ask. 

"In fact I do mas- sorry Hiccup." I smile and he goes under deck. I follow him. Toothless comes in with me. When we get there we see his razorwhip. 

"Hello, Hiccup." I greet. Yeah I know, I was talking to the razorwhip. Johann has called him Hiccup. When I first heard this I just rolled my eyes, but I have grown to understand. I look around and see Johann digging around in a crate. He comes up with a sheet of parchment and hands it to me. "Here you go, Hiccup." I look for the seal on it and find none. I nod my thanks to Johann and open it up. In it is a letter, and it is clear that it is not written to me. But I read it anyway as I know Johann would only give it to me if he knew I would need to read it. This is what the letter says.

Eret,

I wish for you to stop hunting dragons for the time being. I am looking for something much more precious. You may have heard of him, he is commonly known as the dragon master. I wish for you to find him and bring him to me instead. He has very valuable information so you must bring him back alive. He rides a Nightfury, which I wish to add to my dragon army so bring that back alive as well. It is beloved he can speak to dragons so make sure he can't call for help from them. Expect him to be part of you next delivery or I won't be as forgiving as I was last time.

Drago bludvist.

I read most of it in shock. I am being hunted. And then I read the name and I let a small gasp out. Drago is my enemy. We have never met but by the looks of things we will soon. I put the letter in my pocket and head back up after saying goodbye to Hiccup. Johann is already trading and I once again nod my thanks. I know that he won't accept anything for the letter so I just get on toothless and fly to the arena. Trapped in the cages is a large gronckle type creature, a thunder drum and a rumble horn. I am honestly surprised that they have managed to catch these dragons.

I am about to leave when I feel something hit my arm. I look down to see a poison dart puncture my skin. I can feel the poison in my system but I fight it and turn to toothless. He is already knocked out. I look around the arena and see who I presume is meant to be hunting me. I am surprised they know I am here but then again not that much. Drago is smart. Help me. I manage to call out to the dragons before I faint. My last thought being.

 "As soon as I heal. I get captured again."

Astrid POV:
I am at Johanns ship trading when I hear a barely audible roar from the arena. I quickly finish up with Johann and head up there with Johann behind me. I look back at him questioningly.

 "Master Astrid, Hiccup is a real friend to me. If he is in danger then I will come and help him." I nod and continue on my way. We reach the arena to find the dragons seemingly very agitated. I look around and see Johann caring for Toothless. He plucks something small out of the dragons leg and looks at it unimpressed. He then stands up and comes over to me.

"Master Astrid. It appears hiccup has been taken again." He holds out the small thing in front of me, revealing it to be a sleeping dart. As I am looking at it, Stoick storms in. 

"Where is my son!" He demands. Johann and I exchange looks as if to say, "You tell him. No you tell him!" 

I sigh and look at Stoick. "He's been taken again chief."

 "What!!!" He shouts. "By who!" Again Johann and I exchange looks. This time he answers. 

"Master Stoick, neither of us know who took him. It could be the dragon hunters who master Hiccup has had as enemies ever since he ventured of into the unknown and stumbled across there base. It really was quite brave of him. He fought them of one by one. He seemed to use different attack plans on each one. He used one to whack out the other. Or he would-"  Stoick interrupts JOhan before he can go to far into his story, and turns to me. 

"No thank you Johann. Astrid do you know where Hiccup is?" 

"No chief." I answer. He says something under his breath. and leaves the arena. Just before leaving he shouts at us. 

"If you do find out who did it. be sure to inform me immediately." Johann and I exchange looks before heading back to the docks. 

"So what was all that about?" Asks fishlegs. " Hiccup was taken." I answer. 

"Wow how many enemies can one person get himself in five or six years!" Snotlout comments. I reply by punching him in the gut and throwing him overboard. 

"I know you love me babe!!" He shouts as he fall. I just wipe my hands and leave. "Please be okay Hiccup." I mumble under my breath.

This chapter has been edited! Hard to tell, I'm sure. Honestly, this book was so badly written, why has anyone read it? anyway,  thanks!
